I hope they buff proc sets. They're kinda underperforming at the moment especially Viper and Selene.

You are a fool if you think they can ever balance this game...or any other for that matter. There will always be someone who makes a build that exploits one thing or another. The only way they will ever balance the game is to take away all skills and allow only sets with no bonuses in PvP...otherwise there will always be a build that exploits some skill or set. Nerfing Viper wont change anything. Selene isnt a problem...are you blind? Can you not see that giant green bear getting ready to claw you? Did you forget how to roll dodge? I could care less if they nerf Selene and Viper and all the other proc sets....I am just not stupid enough to think it will make any difference in PvP.

Id reckon once it procs you get a buff on your character sheet, and since you cant stack the same buff you cant have two procs at once, there will probably be different buffs.
One for shield proc.
One for dmg proc.
One for heal proc. Etc

I know that Viper will be nerfed but knowing ZOS they will also nerf sets like Grothgarr, Ilambirs etc, so again they will hurt PvErs.

If it procs > 19,000, it's a buff. If less than 19,000, it's a nerf

Selene is hitting for over 5-6k in BG


That's just ridiculous. Even an unblocked meteor in BG rarely hits that hard on a critical.

And don't even get me started on viper. 3-4k every other hit for free damage.

Selenes is super OP, and Viper is and had been broken. I'll be suprised if they actually nerf it.

But I'm expecting them to buff it like every other illogical decision so far

If it means more secondary effects and less burst damage Im all in for improvements.
When will the changes come though? Theyve been talking about it for the last 2 ESO live episodes. Not to mention the forum community asking for it when proc sets were in PTS

Oh I have a very unpopular, and negative opinion on Proc sets. The more destructive the nerf the better IMO.

To be fair though, if I were in charge I would just make it so they don't affect players. That way PvE isn't affected.

Once again the whiners win and raiders and other pve players get screwed! Once they make these nerfs and people still run all over you in Cyrodiil what are you going to complain about then? Zos nerf his access to the game while your at it I think he has way to much CP to be playing in the same campaign as me. Sheesh people learn to adapt.

Honestly poisons and destro ulti outweigh proc sets. Hopefully they don't nerf grothdarr and valkyn into the ground as well.

God, I hope they will be careful here. PvE uses proc sets a lot, I honestly don't want to lose DPS again, I've just recovered after Morrowind update.
