So i made a huge mistake.
It was pretty early, not many people online and i wanted to do morrowind dailes like every day for the motifs.
I was lucky and a cp 450 dps joins immedialty. We waited 2 minutes and since i'm a tank i thought we would have no problem...except the daily was wuyu, a hunger worldboss.
Hungers have a health drain ability which heals % based which is massive in case of a world boss.
Normally you can break free, but not wuyus drain. He can only be interrupted by a second player.
During the fight are no adds except when wuyu disappears and regular hungers spawn until you killed 7-8 of them so he reappears which means there is no pressure on anyone except the guy with the aggro.
He used his drain on me and no interrupt, i asked politely for a bash/interrupt first, but no reaction. Wuyu healed 75% of the damage dealt and it happened over and over again.
In the meantime more people join, a 100-200 cp guy, then a lvl 30-40 guy but no bashing. I even said to click on both sides of the mouse for an interrupt but nothing. After he used his drain ability with it's duration for the 4th time wuyu was slain.
This is not the first time i have seen this with wuyu. I have seen up to 8 people during this fight in which noone interrupts the boss.
Yes, every 2-4 weeks a doshia nostalgia thread appears but buffing the stats is not enough/needed.
Force mechanics on the players in the overworld already instead of frustating teammates in a veteran dungeon.
Make a healer npc heal 10 times more with the option to interrupt. Throw more and stronger ground aoes. Let a boss become invicible unless you kill that totem/whatever across the room.
Weak light attacks but powerful heavy attacks which need to blocked/dodged.
You can't have both overland which can be done with bow light attacks and veteran dungeons like the upcomming nord ones at the same time.
Either make overland requiere atleast some braincells or let us light attack thought dungeons too.
