Soloing Wuyuvus

After successfully soloing the big nix ox world boss I tried the same with the ugly Hunger. Maybe I missed something but to me it seems it's not soloable. In one mechanic he sucks you to him and draws blood. You have to interrupt that or else you die. Break free does not work. So I conclude that you need a 2nd person just for the interrupt. I was able to beat him easily together with a guild mate.

I would agree that without someone to interupt the boss after the ads spawn then you will not be able to solo, although have not tried with pets on my sorc...0 -

✭✭✭You will survive his nom nom nom attack if you have a strong(20k+ at least) shield on you before it but he will heal. A lot. I'm not sure if it's possible to do enough damage to outdps his healing in that scenario. Not sure if his nom attack is time or health based either. If it's time there might be hope - if your dps is high enough.
That aside, yes you cannot avoid or interrupt that attack without a second person afaik. I haven't tried it with pets either though.1 -

lonewolf26✭✭✭✭✭So far I've only been able to solo Wuyuvus on my Stam Sorc. Hurricane + Crit Surge really helps keep me alive through his pin, and does a bit of damage to keep his health leveled, as he recovers during that phase by drinking your blood. I think I can do it on the stamina blade but i'm left in far worse shape after the pin, veil of blades is the survival tool there.Edited by lonewolf26 on July 5, 2017 7:50AM1 -

✭✭You need a skill like surge+storm / Hurricane or ritual to heal and damage whilst you're being suck to death. Magma shell / Corrosive will sponge it and brush it off entirely. It's a boring and long fight solo though.PC Master Race
