Everything else is well priced though. Costume seems a bit basic for the price, but I'm sure some people will still be happy to buy in. It's not like this is another 4k+ item

Yeah, 2000 is insane... It looks alright but I'm not going to spend so much on a costume that I'll probably wear for only a couple of days before I get bored of it. At least the hair and the personality are somewhat reasonably priced and look great on my characters.

I'd be ok with 1500, I always wanted the Naryu personality ever since I saw it in game. Looks great on my dark elf and want to see how it looks on my little wood elf

The previous hero costumes were 2k and didn't come bundled with a second piece, so this seems ok to me.

This seems like the most likely explanation to me. It's an outfit worn by an iconic NPC used to promote the expansion, so in their eyes they're pricing it accordingly.

That makes more sense to me than using the goggles to justify it because a normal costume would be 1,000 crowns at most and a hat is 500, so that's still 500 crowns unaccounted for.

That was my reaction when I saw the price. But if you click on it, you'll see that it comes with separate goggles as well, so if you like the goggles, then it's not as bad of a price as it seems at first.
If you hate the goggles, then it's a bad price. LOL.

I bought it. I want to really support their direct buy products.

Love the 'glasses' with the Naryu outfit. The hairstyle is so cute too -- stylish and just a bit sassy. The personality is good too; I like the walk. Also got the mount, because... riding kitty...
