What's to stop them from summoning a soul of one of their victims? A Ghost?

Well let them summon dragons while we are at it, dark magic =/= necromancy

No no if we are having dreams then dragon knights should summon a dragon.

I wouldn't want to see a three tier option for the simple reason that the Devs are having hell balancing the current 2 tier system...

To introduce a 3rd tier would be beyond the Devs ability to balance based off of what we have seen thus far...

The larger reason is Zos has been working to simplify the game. When Zos states they are attempting to lower the ceiling and raise the floor they are simplifying the game.

Adding a third tier just complicates things, goes in the opposite direction and for questionable benefit.

Another point is, it would cost another SP. Some of us have 350 CP and use most of them. 6 crafts, able to fill more than one role and skills for both PvE and PvP. Adds up fast.

Nothing from the last patch had simplify things, if any it added more layers of intricacies, now that we got to better consider sustain and cps.

I think this particular idea is very interesting and could be a lot of fun, disregarding practical issues like skill points available.

And for OP question, I'm leaning more towards straight added benefits, maybe some particular 3th tier morph could have tradeoffs, but generally speaking we don't like getting some aspects weakened.

Edit. Also want to say that I appreciate @Avran_Sylt posts, although sometimes not fully thought out, it's fun to read interesting-ish topics between the pool of tears the forums usually are.

Leave it as it is currently (2 Tier System) - But introduce additional Morphs
I'd preffer a third morph option, that was focused for something specific, like PVP morphs or something similar

Last patch very much simplified things in as much as it is harder to come up with a truly bad CP build. That was part of the stated goal devs had. Of course someone can try really hard and still end up with a bad CP build. It takes more effort to end up with a really bad CP build and much easier to have an OK one.

Further, the last few updates have homogenized some skills which shows an overall effort to simplify the game. Multiple sources of the same magicka steal. Orbs and shards are basically the same. Just to name two things changed in recent months for simplification.

What about a 2 tier system where the user got to select if a morph was based off magicka or stamina? Just a thought.

It'd likely be a balance nightmare as the current system already is but hey, if the system is already broken why not go whole hog? XD
