Why has the NA lag issue not been acknowledged yet?

Quick run down for info's sake.
I have ESO on PC and PS4
PC, ping spikes from 100 to 400, sometimes to 900+
PS4 is completely unplayable. Theres no spikes on PS4, just horrible lag constantly.
Why has nothing been publicly acknowledged yet considering this is happening to so many people?
I've had discussions with people on PC chat and PS4 chat and people are getting fed up.

    ya, this is a good question. fourth consecutive day, clearly there is someting going on with the servers.

    Zeni employees are at home sipping tea (or who knows what kinds of liquids!) for their holiday break. They'll come back in a day or two and make a "we're looking into it" comment.

    I agree. We need answers. Atleast to say that they are aware of the situation.

    Just to confirm are these happening again right now?

    ZOS are out of the office today as far as I know due it being a public holiday, they probably have server staff working still but I don't know anyone who posts on the forums is about.

    I have a feeling they are aware but don't want to say anything of it to anyone or any forum post cause they are trying to deal with a ddos attack that may be going on.

    Same on xbox NA, can't even loot kills half the time (if you can attack on time) or interact with anything.
    I'm quitting eso+ until it gets better.

    Or maybe they aren't saying anything because they aren't working on a holiday.

    Yes these problems have been every day for the past 4 days on PC, 5 days on PS4 exactly. I'll go and post my info on that thread.

    I'm sure they're aware. Maybe just working on figuring out what to say. But even then, I would be sooo happy if they just ame out and said "Hey, we see the problem." Just something. And I do understand it is a holiday. Hopefully within a couple days we'll have an idea of whats going on.

    It's all quiet here. No lag (that I can see), and damn, this place needs more players.

    Yeah I don't really lag I don't think but I get stuttering problems in almost every turn or when im dropping down from something

    I don't lag frame wise, its a ping issue.

    ...they are blaming Xbox live for the lag issues on the PS4

    &

    on the PC, they are asking if you would turn it off and back on again.....

    Did your traceroute show that the problem is the ZOS server ?
    You guys should be posting your traceroute output in your posts.

    You're probably right, (don't know how to anyway :p) but is it really that likely that everyone just randomly got internet problems 4 days ago? At this point, isn't almost definitely a server issue?

    But it's not everyone. And without providing a traceroute in your post it could be one of several hops causing the issues.
    My trace route to the ESO server goes through 64 hops (central Texas here).

    It hasn't adressed today because it's a federal holiday in the US.
