PVE Tanking Sets

I'd like to run 5x Beekeeper + Engine Guardian (till I get Troll King). It's for Vet Dungeons (not planning on doing any trials). I might make a PVP variant. Which option would you recommend? The first character I'd run it on would be a Redguard stamplar (but I might swap it out to other characters and classes).

I know the hipsters tank in light armor with an ice staff, but this is a noob tank B)

    Plague doctor, tava, hist bark.

Tava would be best with evasion, as you can gain ulti quick and spam horns for the group, making fights in dungeons quicker and easier. Plague would allow you to have a huge health pool, so it'll be easier for your healer to heal and for you to survive. Hist bark is just a nice starter tank set overall. Armour master is also great for a starter tank, as is Akaviri Dragonguard, for the same reason as Tava, more ultis. It's preference really.

Also I'd run Bloodspawn over Engine if you can, or 1x shadowrend and 1x chokethorn for the magicka regen to spam igneous for the group, again providing more utility and survivability.

Ebon is also a nice set to run, boosting your groups health by over 1k, which would be especially nice for group members without undaunted mettle.

Since this is for vet dungeons only I would drop the Beekeeper and troll king and do the Hp stacker, Greenpact and Plague doctor, that combined with 1p Chokethorn and 1p Shadowrend along with using Orzagars Red Frothgar gives you a lot of HP and a lot of Magicka Recovery, you will be able to spam some really strong Igneous shield, even with the nerf to the ally part of it. And with the magicka regen you will be able to use a lot more CC abilities like Chains and Talons. On top of that, with the High HP you can survive for very long and you can do so while you have your shield down, so heavy attacking for more stamina is much easier.

Combine this with an ultimate like Magma Shell you can give you a lot of strong Damage shields and stay really strong yourself. I would recommend reinforced or Infused for your Traits, since you won't be blocking a lot Reinforced will further more keep you strong, and Infused will give you more HP to give even stronger shields while again making you harder to kill. On weapons I would go with the Infused Trait and use enchant that lowers enemies weapon damage(mobs don't have weapon damage per say so it will lower their power which goes for both magical and non magical enemies.) Making your group survive longer.

Obviously if you want to focus more on helping them deal damage then this ain't the way to go, for that I would say do Tavas and Dragon with Bloodspawn for spamming Warhorn the best you can. Its its own style as well. Pick which ever works for you, either way its for Dungeons, its not gonna need a super meta set up to do.

As a Stamplar you're not going to have chains.

I'm running Undaunted Bastion, Willow's Path and Engine Guardian on my Stampler works well with repentance slotted for resource recovery and a shield after taunt just in case. Could use Tremorscale when PvP'ing

Otherwise Dragon, Ebon and Bloodspawn are all good. Hist Bark is another good crafted set up you need something while you farm.
