Seriously. The ebon armory boots are completely "undye'able". When you go to the dye station, there is only even one slot showing to accept a dye, and it doesn't matter what color you put there. The Ebon Armory boots are Julionos white, and there is nothing you can do to change it.
Friends have suggested I get the Santa beard and a hat, dye them red, and change my name to "Santa Tank"....but I'd really rather just be able to dye my boots. I'm feeling a little bit trolled here on this one ZOS.
You can still dye them using the "dye all" option.
