When ESO first launched on consoles, PvP at that time, was actually bearable. Sure there was the occasional frame rate lag, but the differences between now and then are night and day.
A large reason I went on a long hiatus (even after several attempts at returning) is mostly due to the horrible state PvP is in. Want to get off a few skills to try attacking an enemy player or two? LULZ sure, but you'll have to do it at 10fps...
This wasn't something that just happened overnight either. It has been getting increasingly worse with every new DLC, major update/patch.
I'm not a huge fan of PvP (I used to play WoW Arenas competitively years ago), but PvP in ESO was something I really enjoyed to break the monotonous grind wall of PvE (even that is broken with the amount of game crashes, freezes, bugs, etc.). So, what reason do I have to come back, even short term, if I'm only every going to experience crashes and unbearable lag?
This isn't a "convince me to return" comment. Just adding my .02 on the state of lag in ESO for consoles.
...and not to mention that Vivec City is the same lag as Orsinium which they never fixed, they just said, "don't go back in there" when they rescued several people's toon that were stuck.
Once they get a new development team, this game will be better, just like Square Enix did to reboot FFIV.
(they should also ban donuts in the developers cubicles, all that starch has them napping on the job)
