I really want to know what they do when they walk in the office let me sit at my desk and not fix the long load screens and the terrible delays when your fighting so much is wrong with this game on console new content should be he last thing they concerned about.

That is one serious run on sentence.

Also I rarely experience lag. Do you use LAN cable - it's infinitely better than using WIFI. (atleast on PS4)

This user does not PVP or go to any major cities.

Hardwired, DMZ+ mode, open NAT, and around 64mb down/15up and I still experience delay in Grahtwood, Vuhkel Guard, vMA, and most of all, Cyrodiil.

I'm a PVE roleplayer concerned about my vampires stage 4 skin tone and keep getting load screens so I came here to distract people from major issues with a rant thread about my characters cosmetic appearance.

Nice assumptions buddy. I do go to major cities every single day - I don't PVP often, but I have played in PVP - like I said, I RARELY experience lag - doesn't mean I never do. I spend half my time in Belkarth with literally 100s of other people around me, and I don't lag. Not a major city - but easily one of the most populated due to all high level writs being turned in there and the best trading guilds being there (usually). Please don't make ridiculous statements just because YOU have a bad experience.

Atleast I tried to ask a question that might help OP - all you did was try to spread lies about me smh.

EDIT: My connection is also twice as good as yours, so that could explain why it doesn't happen to me much :) And I play on PS4 PRO. I don't know how all that factors together - but I'm not here just spewing garbage. I don't have lag very often. End. of. Story.

    LOL.

So essentially you have a perfect setup for console gaming, yet avoid all ESO content that has true performance issues.... therefore ESO doesn't have performance issues?

You cannot be this ignorant of the situation. ZOS themselves have acknoledged how bad it is for a looong time now, but have gone nearly silent to avoid the scrutiny after they realized pushing new content was prioritized over fixing the deteriorating game performance.

You're on PS4 Pro..... load into Vivec and PvP for a bit, especially near big Keep battles. Skills have 2+ second delays, audio cuts frequently and quite terribly, players teleport aound, random load screens can appear (sometimes never-ending meaning you must close app), and you often fight black silhouettes that cannot even load in properly. That's probably the easiest way to figure out why the OP is frustrated along with every other PvPer. If you are good enough to enter a Vet trial, pay attention to how FPS dramatically decreases when your group starts killing stuff.

Don't bash OP for legit concerns is all, even if you are part of the smallest minority of players who don't experience them since you selectively avoid all scenarios that cause performance issues.

I'm getting a lag in places I never got it before . For example when trying to select dialogue when interacting with NPCs. I was in the character creator a couple days ago and every click of a slider took several seconds to update. The network is perfectly fine on my end and passes all speed tests. Things were actually working pretty well leading up to the Morrowind release.

Question I have is are there really some people not seeing this at all, and why are they not seeing it? Is it just some set of links between them and the servers that works better than others.

It's funny how I just spent the last hour in Cyrodiil at a near 500+ man fight inside one of the enemy's starting points where we'd pushed them all back, everybody is clustered on top of one another spamming skills and didn't have any lag... avoiding content - yeah that's it. Just because I don't spend my entire life in PVP.

I also got accused of not playing in Big Cities - which I do. Any other dumb crap you want to throw at me?

I suggested LAN or Wifi might be the issue - I didn't dismiss his claims, I provided reasoning for a potential difference. I don't recall bashing OP once (except maybe pointing out the run on sentence, but I don't see that as bashing)- but hey, whatever more baseless accusations.

@Vaoh All very true. Did you see the video I posted where my character in Vivec just started to levitate into the air, and away from the skirmish I was in the middle of? Performance gets worse and worse with every addition . On top of more and more bugs like standing on horses (I used to see other characters do this but for awhile now my character does periodically) or have you seen the only having one leg while riding where that one leg jumps from side to side? Also, can I have my blacksmith hammer back now, please?

When the game first came out on Xbox I can remember being impressed with the performance in that the load screens were reasonable and the lag understandable (it was mainly only in PvP and really not bad for the size of the battles). Now lag is everywhere. Each dlc brings more issues and so many more bugs. Somewhere it got barely better but it is at a by far all time low since being on console. In addition I have a better internet connection than I did at launch yet lag so much more.

I really wish more time would be spent on fixing bugs and performance as this is a good game but could by far be the best with long lasting players.

It's a real shame how many have left due to horrible rng grinds and garbage performance and bugs :(

I wish it weren't true, but yeah, this game does lag hard on console. I have a 125 MB connection that works flawlessly for everything in our home, so the lag on PS4 is downright frustrating. Trying to open a chest? Better hope the game doesn't lag for a second. Seriously, a stutter of half a second causes pins to jump all over the screen.

The lag and frame rate drops in PvP is unbearable. Has nothing to do with connections whatsoever.

I'll take putting up with the queues in BGs over randomly pressing buttons hoping I get kills while everyone skips across the screen during a siege.

There will not be a fix though, it's been like this for so long that it's just obvious consoles can not handle that much going on at one time on the screen.

I envy PC players when I watch these huge battles and they can actually fight and input commands without delay.

PC players would point and laugh at us if they saw how bad it was - well they point and laugh now - but you get my point.

@Ch4mpTW Yep I saw those lol. It's crazy how bad it is now. I will say that despite the proc sets/group finder issues, at least we can avoid most performance issues in BGs PvP.

Cyrodiil is hopelessly laggy when large battles happen. I say this as a PS4 Pro player too.....

LOL you speak a lot of truth it hurts.

Actually on the cusp of ditching this cash cow at the moment, Lately I've been building my vast Lego Star Wars UCS collection that I was hoarding for retirement but thought *** it build some, I opened up my Falcon which goes for anything between £3-5K and grinded out the build over a few nights...at the end I was so happy with it, and then it hit me...wow all this enjoyment I've had and you know what Harbinger, You didn't lag, crash, Freeze, DC, sit in a loading screen waiting to load up a loading screen that ultimately puts you in another loading screen, instagibbed by a Viper, veli, RM combo....Then it struck...why bother. It's proving futile trying to enjoy the game lately. The only fun to be had is in TeamSpeak and that from talking to friends whilst suffering all the above negatives.

May end up just putting up a raffle on here for 75.43M Gold and all my stuff (Unbound Viper BOE Jewellery and weapons, Warlock Jewellery and weapons, a nice Dylora Staff, thousands of gold Mats, with some stupidly frustrating way of entering it.
