The reason it's double-barred and was explained by ZOS is that the bear is a summoned pet and all summoned pets have a requirement of being double-barred, second, they aren't going to allow two Ultimates active at the same time. The Bear being summoned is already an active Ultimate, being able to switch to another bar and activate another Ultimate would mean two Ultimates active at the same time.

Except it's not really when the bulk of the bear dmge is on the proc. Althought it's true that it would be overpowered to allow it on it's current form, this is why I suggest to move some of the bear's dps from it's basic attacks to the proc, and increase it's cost to 85. This way you'd be able to choose between single dmge or aoe/utility.

Give me actually reliable pet controls and then we'll see where we are. We have a 'Command Pet' keybind, but what does it actually do? I've spammed it over and over and the pet continues wandering about in Narnia or something. Ridiculous.

On the other hand, when it actually does what I want it to (which has been all of once, ever, since Morrowind launched) it's pretty amazing. hit a 7.5k crit in no CP and basically 1-shotted someone with Cliff Racer + Deep Fissure + Heavy + Bear ult.

Also, I'm still tilted that ZOS removed the ability to use Nature's Embrace on the bear. WHY Q_Q

    YES and NO

The bear's mechanic is kinda FUBAR. When you try to proc the execute, it will miss or it will change targets. The AI is pretty unreliable.

Don't get me wrong- I realize how strong the bear can be... but it's quite literally hit or miss. I don't suggest making the attacks more powerful... but I do suggest making the AI more reliable.
Want to enjoy the game more? Try both PvP (crybabies) and PvE (carebears). You'll get a better perspective on everyone's opinion.

If they're worried about two ultimates going at one time then have him single barred and when you hit the ultimate button he rushes out for one minute with aoe attacks, a knockdown, and if you hit it a second time he will use his finisher. Anything would be better than the bumbling, berry picking, unreliable wonder we have now.

At least fix the bear's god-awful AI and pathing. Those are the greatest things keeping me from wanting to use it in opposition to the other two Ultimates the Warden has.

Also make the Eternal Guardian effect baseline, or shorten the cast time. If you make it baseline give the magicka morph something interesting in its place.

I will however note that ZoS kinda threw Wardens (and Sorcs) a bone in that permanent combat pets reset their HP after exiting combat. That's a start.

Do you want it to be so OP it could solo VMA and vet trials on its own

Well... YES! That would be awesome! ;)

Yes it should. If not more damage, than some utility. Perhaps a party buff.
