I typically try to CC or root the person trying to bomb with it and then get out of the way of its damage. If it's a group bombing you with negate + eye of the flame, then having a counter negate + bomb works well also.

In general, stand outside of the red circle.

If it's a group bomb, spread out. The group can't chase everyone in different directions.

If it's one player, either they will be squishy or their eots will not be formidable.

Anticipate. If you know you're fighting an eots bomb group, be ready for the bomb and always have an escape/los route in mind. Wait for the bomb and then hit their backline.

Don't be so eager. This is what gets people farmed. Myself included when I'm not patient. Chances are the group you think you're chasing is kiting you to whittle down your numbers and/or set you up for a bomb.

Some things people overlook are thick skinned, blade cloak, impen gear, and strong hots such as healing thicket, resto ult or multiple healing springs spam, permafrost ult and javelin are good to. Also don't stand next to other people who aren't using these things (99% of AD) or you end up with 10 vicious death procs on your death recap.

Undoubtedly one of the most deadly meta's. Effective for both solo bombers and co-ordinates groups and respectfully you will need to check both with different strategies, either way, fundamentally you want to avoid the damage for its duration.

    Solo Bombers:

    - CC the attacker. Root them in place or better yet a CC that puts distance between you and them. Any knock back is perfect
    - situational and riskier. but during a bomb the attacker is less focused on their own health and more on yours, killing them first can be an effective solution.

    Groups:
-Anticipation is key, knowing how organised groups need to move and push will help you immensely. Don't go into the choke, predict the turns, mist form and or immovable potions will help you not get caught.

Those are some play style adjustments you can make. As far as build these are all good.
Some things people overlook are thick skinned, blade cloak, impen gear

There are also sets like leki's or heartland that help, though they may not fit into your build.

Eots isn't very strong solo/duo. It's only strong when groups use it. In that case, anticipate it. Don't be near a clump cause you can guarantee they'll be getting bombed and you'll be dying along with them.

A lot of people just stand around waiting for a group to mow them down with destro ults....Move your butts. Zerg trains stick tight on crown those that over extend tend to die. Move yourself to their sides don't end up in front of the train. Don't chase the train while they kite and light attack you to build ultis again.

If it's a solo person hitting u with a destro ult keep your heals up try to knock them back and move yourself out. You may need to kill them quick tho if they use an immovable. They won't be really tanky.

    Mist
    Resto ult to counter it
    Shield through it
    CC them and run
Just heal through it e.g. Magplar
Be tanky enough you can ignore the dmg somewhat

If your running in a zerg and the other zerg sync ults then your just going to die, thats zerg gameplay for you.

If directed at the zerg I'm serfing: Spam shields or dodge rolls and run in the opposite direction of their target.

A lot of times, people think EOTS is an instant "I win" button and forget about any defense. They'll normally drop pretty quick if your burst is there. *

If it's a single one, spam Harness Magicka and watch it replenish your resources. Pop an immovability pot, if you can. Flame Reach also works a treat for the knockback.

On my stamina DK I was, at one time, running Leki's and Blade Cloak, which would now equate to a 50% reduction. Worked well in duels. If you are using Bloodthirst, a counter-intuitive, but possibly effective method might be to run Blade Cloak, Vigor and counter-attack with Bloodthirst. It's the approach I use when soloing the IC Memorial District ice boss. He has a strong, quick-moving, ground-based AOE that kills easily. The key thing against him is that you can outheal it, if you keep your nerve and spam Bloodthirst.

The question is a little vague, but I'll assume you're talking about groups using EotS

I used to do that on a stamblade too. It was my storm-diver setup. It wasn't dueling setup level damage, but you can jump into a storm and almost always burst them down before the damage was too punishing.
The real problem with EotS in groups is that everyone will complain about it, and few will try to get a group coordinated to do something about it.
Too many duelers in Cyrodiil playing the game they wish they had rather than the game that they do have.
