just flicking through the steam sale looking for good deals, and couldnt really find anything interesting i wanted. decided to look at bethesda games and noticed the new morrowind chapter is on sale for 30 euro, strange to see it for sale so soon. i preordered mine and tbh feel kinda gipped. still its a good chance for anyone on steam who were on the fence about getting it. 30eur is a better price than 40, which is roughly the cost of 5500 crown pack or just cheaper.

If I buy the Morrowind upgrade on Steam but play ESO through the non-Steam ESO launcher, will it work? The collectors editions (box set, digital collectors, collectors upgrade) include the discovery pack regardless of when you purchased them.
ZOS buried that in their FAQ article as opposed to their sales pages.

G2A is a marketplace so the prices aren't set by ZOS/the retailer. All the really good deals are games that were bought with stolen credit cards, so (like you said) there is always the risk of getting banned, however unlikely.Edited by MLGProPlayer on June 24, 2017 11:26PM0 -

Only downside is that (since ZOS and Steam seem to have a somewhat strained relationship) sometimes when there is server trouble, Steam users get locked out of logging back in significantly longer than direct players. It seems that ZOS servers tend to prioritize direct login players over Steam players when the servers are overwhelmed. And so Steam users can get locked out for much longer than non-Steam players. It happened just the other night.
You can still login directly through the Steam version if you have a userid and password. But you won't normally get these if you just buy the Steam version (since the ESO Steam client has auto-login).

✭Just as a fair WARNING to anyone who things about utilizing this sale (Just as I did)
DO NOT PURCHASE THE MORROWIND DIGITAL UPGRADE ON STEAM IF YOU HAVE A REGULAR ACCOUNT.
I just wasted 30euro on the steam version update, when in fact I was looking to gift it to a friend who had an ordinary account (Hell, so do I too) yet this Digital Upgrade does not come with a CD key to enter on your account.
Absolute scam that such is not advertised on the steam page itself, no less that I was capable of buying a Digital Upgrade on a service that did not allow me to use it the very thing I bought.
I've requested refund, and I hope Steam can change their page to actually inform their players about this disconnection.
