Get lowbies out of BGs

title speaks for itself. they have no place in battlegrounds with end game players. it is ruining pretty much every players experience that solo q's. get them out or make an under level 50 BG option

They paid for Morrowind so have every right to be there, maybe later ZOS will add a lowbie battle grounds but for now you just have to put up with it.

Oh it's ruining every (end game players) experience? It sucks for the people at lower level too cause they probably expected to be placed in a game with similar leveled players but instead get shafted into a match with 630s straight outta Cyrodiil.

Very soon BG will be totally ignored by lowbies because of missing matchmaking. Why the hell people with 0 PvP experience are grouped against very skilled and prepared players? Proper matchmaking must be a top priority feature but in this game it's missing completely.

This. You're not more important than they are just because you have a toon that's higher level.

Lowbies will have a bad experience in BGs because of how it currently works- they'll get rekt by people who are much more skilled and geared than they are (and probably mindboggled by how odd level scaling is along the way). Max level characters will have to suffer having lowbies who are dead weight on their team, opponents likely (hopefully?) won't have fun crushing people who die in one hit, then mopping up the rest of the opposing team that actually knows how to play with pure numbers.

It has absolutely nothing to do with 'a right to be there', it's about a flawed design/irritating oversight on ZOS' part that results in a bad gaming experience.

It doesn't matter which section of the player base you cite the way the OP is phrased muddies the core message to ZOS. Match players. I doubt the majority of low level wardens are new accounts, but still, Matching experience, not only in BG but for dungeons -while also implementing scaling- would make the whole experience enjoyable. Probably remove some of the toxity from the different sections of the player base as a side bonus.

Make battlegrounds based on ranks. Good low levels versus weak high levels. Expert players versus expert players. Casuals versus casuals. If only the leaderboard actually included the quality of someone, and not the amount of games they played.

I agree low lvled have no place in bgs it's free points to the other team, would be better to be in a team of 2 vs a team of 4 then be in a team of 4 with 2 lvl 10s.

They need to add a low lvl BG and a 50 only BG.

The fact they didn't have to foresight to see this is amazing

I think zos does not have a 'system' they can use for competitive leaderboards thats why they stick to emperor farm leaderboards.

Solo queue is not for challenge anyway.

They need to have matchmaking in general. Including under 50, and premades versus premades. However this requires them to get queuing at all down first.

The main thingy here should not be to get them out. It should be like many said already to separate BG for those over under level 50 those over level 50 and those that wanna use their CP in battle grounds. It should also be a option to choose what game-mode you wanna play. So for me the group-tool should look something like this:

Under Level 50
>Garb Bag

Over Level 50
>Grab Bag
>Capture the Flag
>Death-match
>Relics

Champion Points
>Grab Bag
>Capture the Flag
>Death-match
>Relics

I think this would improve the experience in BG for everyone.

Separate brackets is needed. I'd suggest 630s have there own bracket. It can be *** to be matched against an experienced group when you got the cp 170 derp squad.

I know cp disabled.. but most of these guys have no chance against the experience and, ultimately they are way out geared.

It helps out both parties. The low cp and low lvls can go enjoy the derp fest while the 630s can get some real games in.

BGs already dying in EU and wouldn't be surprised if it's the same in NA. Lowbies are one concern. Q's never working is another.

I promise you, you'd be better off with my lowbie stam Warden, in full purple impen, than most of the max level pve care bears that seem to end up traipsing into my BG groups with their questing gear.

This works only if/when they actually make the queues work and the pop is high enough that you aren't running into the same people frequently.

At the moment, splitting the population into additional queues is just going to exacerbate all of the queue issues.


TBH, as soon as people realize that Battlegrounds are more casual than they are competitive (in design) the fewer frustrations they'll have.

Don't worry OP. In a couple of weeks, their miserable experience with the constant ready checks, getting insta-slaughtered by premades, the constant 2v4v4 matches, proc sets, etc., will make it so they don;t come back to BGs and you won;t have to worry about them.
