VMA.......AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!

    After completing the crystals up top, go for the bash against his ranged attack, grab the 1st golden ghost, drop your AOEs on any necromancer heading to the middle, grab the 2nd golden ghost, probably ready to bash boss again, finish off necromancer in middle, streak to grab 3rd golden ghost, use the spectral explosion (this should also stun the daedroth that just spawned), drop your AOE destruction ultimate on the boss and daedroth, and grab the damage sigil to amplify it even more. Then go all out dropping damage on boss and bashing/grabbing golden ghosts if need be until he's dead.

    That's an interesting idea must have been tough though to get the sharp lightning staffs

    The last boss on FG-2 always drops a Lightening Sharp staff (if it drops). You can farm it on normal, took me 5-6 runs to get the whole Spider cultists set including the staff.

    @Ch4mpTW Yea forgot about magblade, I´m not very experienced with magblade in vMSA but sorcs got overall higher scores in the leaderboards than magblades and that´s a Little hint :)

    Honestly, those builds are fine. That last boss is horrible the first time you do it. Once you do it though, next time you'll laugh at how easy it is.

    There is certain mechanics s to each phase. Phase 2 you cannot ignore them. Watch some videos and learn when he skull attacks and how often, and how to do the crystals while keeping an eye on the boss and the wall

    Ilambris is the bane of my existence, at least 3 keys every day for the past month and no shoulder drop. Only 2 full sets I've got that I consider running is grothdar or infernal guardian, got nerinths but found it underwhelming.

    Another set to try instead of necropotence is Spinner. As you are alone in vMA the extra armor reduction can be very useful in reducing fight time especially in phase 1 of the fight where you can do with getting the boss to levitate as fast as possible and when you proc the stun and drop your destro ultimate in the final phase.

    One thing I always do when dropping back down after destroying the crystals is to take the defensive sigil as soon as I land and then ignore the boss and go for the first gold ghost. The reason I do this is because the defensive sigil not only shields you, but it also reflects damage. When you come back down after the crystals the boss instantly casts his nerieneth wannabe channel thing that is so deadly. The defensive sigil deflects it back to boss so you are damaging him for the duration of the channel while you ignore him.

    Focus on Mechanics for Rd9, that's the key. Gear / setup etc is nothing compared to your sequence & timing. Once you know that its one of the easier rounds

    I run Ilambris for most of the content on my magSorc except vMA where I use Infernal instead. Both work great but Infernal suit my style in vMA better.

    btw. took me 70+ keys alone to get a divine Skoria shoulder :wink:

    Ty. Got it first run tonight. Cant get the neck tho. Maybe i will try to get the netch neck. Which is easier? Also 1 or 2?

    There's no guaranteed neck drop in either dungeon, but Fungal Grotto 1 is one of the quickest and easiest dungeons to complete.

    Nope, between Elemental Blockade, the Scamp AOE pulse, and Liquid Lightning, I don't really need it. I'd prefer to have the insane Ultimate damage that benefits from both 5 pc sets.

    Your build has a lot of potential. RNG has been awful for me. Been trying FG2 and DC2 for a necklace of either. Any advice on how you got yours?

    Been stuck on final boss for days with Necro/Illambris/will power. Want to see if your build helps. I dont get how some are able to burn the boss to 70% and go straight up top with no initial Daedroth spawn.
