My Thoughts Of Morrowind moving forward.

Im a stamblade on Xbox NA been playing ESO For a year and MMO's for about 20 years now. When the name Elder Scrolls comes to mind that's a big name to carry and we always have huge expectations and as we should.

I always love ESO lore the dev's always do a fantastic job when it comes to stories questing and so far I am pleased with the Morrowind expansion. However i'm not pleased with the player experience I've been shown over the past year by ZENIMAX a company who clearly IMO puts money over quality in most situations.

Its no secret that the community is getting aggravated with the way ZENIMAX puts out content and there priority of patching old fixes that have been broken for awhile or seem to get fixed and break every new patch (ie: Dungeon Queue's). Even now the system is still broke and my point is how does a developer put out content without making sure important details like a Queue will work. Every patch I remember there's been problems with dungeon queues and were forced with the inconvenience and a month later its partially fixed.

This is ESO not some cheesy game, you have certain standards to live up to just like making a movie and I am a crossroad where I cant believe I actually support failure. I feel like im brainwashed sometimes cause I keep telling myself its ESO. At sometime you have to look at it for what it really is and I came to an understanding. ZENIMAX you failed your player base one too many times and you get away with it. When will you accept that and really look into what these failures are and give us a mmo we can enjoy again.

There's so much to list I would go insane trying to list every complaint I've had , I even felt ripped off with the pre order cause I clearly thought if I pre ordered the standard upgrade i would get the grey bear skin like it showed in the trailer for my warden. After further research there's no real reward for buying pre order. Any person who buys the collectors edition and up got the same pack and better appearance so it was once again about money and not for the love of ESO. In reality you would make just as much by giving us a better play experience and building a loyal fan base. Not a crowd who love's your game but despises your company.

Im sorry but thats my thought and theres such a negative vibe when I play ESO Its the saddest thing I ever witnessed in a mmo.

Little things, Guild trader guild. "Do we have a trader this week?" How many months has it been? The fact that a majority don't care for them cause we just sell in public chat. Auction house? One of the greatest MMO's to hit the console. Ever play Warframe. The developers are so in tune with the player base. Consistent dev streams, people so down to earth and play the game are aware of most of the flaws and come up with fast fixes that gives you the best experience possible.

My question is, is it the developers or is it higher up pushing through unfinished content to get the players to dig in there pockets? Its not fair to take a big name like ESO. A game I've enjoyed so much for many, many years and make a mockery out of it to line people's pockets for what?. Do it right and then I can say its money well spent.

From business and developer minded people alike years ago, they saw all the symptoms pointing towards terrible upper management. The developers themselves may or may not be incompetent but we can say they are understaffed, overworked and the higher ups never seemed to give a ***.

"Homestead would have made more sense as a chapter?" what? Did you misspell the update or did you really mean it?
I am glad it didn't become a chapter! Hell, I was never so disappointed at this game when they announce it would count as an "update". For me homestead was just Zos on vacation from content creation... It is less significant than holiday events, it literally didn't add anything content wise O.o

Just in a sense the idea of housing was really great and IMO would of been better way to launch an expansion.

Thanks that makes a lot of sense and is really shameful as a company.

Considering How much houses cost? No. Housing is good as an update.
Morrowind is a whole other zone with better textures, that replicated a classic game.
That is going to get more attention than housing.

Did you mean that Housing should have launched with Morrowind?

For me, they just need to update the old zones graphics to be on par with Morrowind

IMO no, Homestead would of made more sense as a chapter then Morrowind cause it really didn't offer anything new at all except story and a new character.

I stopped reading at that point because it makes zero sense. I just figured the rest followed such things.

Homestead as an expansion would have been absurd since it offered housing. No content. No story. It was merely fluff.

Just does not make any sense.

Housing would have been a bad DLC.

OMG, Just read the second post OP made here. Really going off on a rant there. Some players get upset when someone derails their thread, but OP is trying to do it himself.

It doesn't matter what I think I guess my point was I'm disappointed in where the game is headed great content lots of bugs and we all put up with it for the love of ESO.

I've been sent pm regarding the massive overhaul to sustain champion points heavy attacks etc. I left that out cause I personally don't want discuss that as a topic. This is a thread on why couldn't a company let developers fix old fixes before releasing new content. Especially when our money is involved and we support the game and are very loyal to the name ESO.

I edited the post it came out wrong and i didn't get the point across and yes it made zero sense. Hopefully it makes more sense now. Its just my thoughts for a game I enjoyed but now just waiting for then next MMO to come along unless theres a big change in upper management.
