I'm sorry, but what a ridiculous thread. Fun is subjective. No definition found online can somehow say something objective about what fun is to people. For some people, fun means to compete with orher people. To achieve things. Fulfillment. For others, it might mean something else.
Why are you trying to decide for other what fun means? Why dedicate an entire thread to this. It is useless.

We have the two wardens skills that link together great (My husband and I wardens) that we have people follow us because of our teamwork..slaughter and heals..constant. I just love the warden. Super fun class for me that made me stay with ESO longer when I was thinking of returning to WoW.
Now if they would do something about those overly loud NPCs (shesh) and the stalker NPCs.
The warden isnt fun to play to me either...so its a fail for both DPS and fun. I detest all the delayed abilities. If I am having fun playing my warden, it means I am using very few if any delayed abilities. Oh, and I cant stand the stupid bear ult, worst ability ever on any class.

Another lost soul who thinks fun is only end game DPS ...
There are other classes for that if that's your thing.
By the way, this is one of the most refreshing threads I've seen in awhile, @Insandros ... kudos.

Wrong, I mainly tank, and the warden is ok for that...but the DK is better. Its more fun to tank on a DK, its more fun to heal on Templar, and its more fun to DPS on any other class. I only mentioned DPS, because the delayed abilities make the warden even less fun than the other roles. As for the bear ult...well, its horrible. I have never been a fan of pet builds, but at least the sorc pets dont take up 2 ult slots. What the warden IS good at is buffs. The warden has some amazing buffs and debuffs compared to other classes, and so it shines as a tank or healer...or a tank/healer hybrid, but then they went a ruined the damage role with a terrible ult and delayed dmg abilities(and the one delayed healing ability, though that one isn't as bad because the synergy is an option to speed it up). The point being, in the end, the warden will never be my first choice for any pure role. The only time it would be my first choice is for a tank/healer hybrid(for off-tanking roles in trials and the like) and if its not my first choice, I will have less fun playing it than a better suited class. They could solve all this issues by removing the delays(or at least reducing them) and either make it so you dont have to devote 2 slots for the bear or somehow make the bear worth the 2 slots its taking.

Made a Warden on the PTS, and while it doesn't feel very strong the class has a lot of fun skills with cool animations
So when I deleted my main, I had a choice between Sorc or Warden. I chose to have fun
I do wish we had more animal companions (actual pets and none as an ulti), as well as better synergy with Green Balance (using Vines on pets to heal them, leeching vines affecting pets, etc ...)

I am curious why you feel warden is more fun than say templar? Is it purely because it seems simpler to get into over other classes?
Its more fun to heal on Templar. [snip] .What the warden IS good at is buffs.
