I like the artic wind animation. While you're tanking a boss and start tripping out and flailing your hands in the air never gets old.

To be honest, the animation could had been a it more, impressive, move something like blizzard :)

Love love love love LOVE my magden healer. She has completely replaced my magplar healer and I aint looking back.

PvP, BGs, Dungeons (norm and vet), Trials (norm and vet and hard mode), you name it , she runs it and does just fine! Sure a few things could be improved, but as a healer shes fantastic.

I love the warden class. It is the funnest class of all to me. My husband and I run public dungeons with ease and we do not stare at some class chart for hours trying to max our damage. We play to have fun. And the warden does this for us. I am glad we kept our pre-order when the reviews were scary. We have the two wardens skills that link together great (My husband and I wardens) that we have people follow us because of our teamwork..slaughter and heals..constant. I just love the warden. Super fun class for me that made me stay with ESO longer when I was thinking of returning to WoW.

Now if they would do something about those overly loud NPCs (shesh) and the stalker NPCs.

Made a Warden on the PTS, and while it doesn't feel very strong the class has a lot of fun skills with cool animations

So when I deleted my main, I had a choice between Sorc or Warden. I chose to have fun :p

I do wish we had more animal companions (actual pets and none as an ulti), as well as better synergy with Green Balance (using Vines on pets to heal them, leeching vines affecting pets, etc ...)

I am curious why you feel warden is more fun than say templar? Is it purely because it seems simpler to get into over other classes?

The warden isnt fun to play to me either...so its a fail for both DPS and fun. I detest all the delayed abilities. If I am having fun playing my warden, it means I am using very few if any delayed abilities. Oh, and I cant stand the stupid bear ult, worst ability ever on any class.

Magicka wardens makes a great Xv1 class

Nothing like hitting 5-7k cliff racers on stam builds rolling because they have 5 people on them already, such balance.

Wrong, I mainly tank, and the warden is ok for that...but the DK is better. Its more fun to tank on a DK, its more fun to heal on Templar, and its more fun to DPS on any other class. I only mentioned DPS, because the delayed abilities make the warden even less fun than the other roles. As for the bear ult...well, its horrible. I have never been a fan of pet builds, but at least the sorc pets dont take up 2 ult slots. What the warden IS good at is buffs. The warden has some amazing buffs and debuffs compared to other classes, and so it shines as a tank or healer...or a tank/healer hybrid, but then they went a ruined the damage role with a terrible ult and delayed dmg abilities(and the one delayed healing ability, though that one isn't as bad because the synergy is an option to speed it up). The point being, in the end, the warden will never be my first choice for any pure role. The only time it would be my first choice is for a tank/healer hybrid(for off-tanking roles in trials and the like) and if its not my first choice, I will have less fun playing it than a better suited class. They could solve all this issues by removing the delays(or at least reducing them) and either make it so you dont have to devote 2 slots for the bear or somehow make the bear worth the 2 slots its taking.

That isn't the message i got from their post. Sounds more like they don't find it fun and so for them it isn't fun and just so happens to not be good for dps compared to other classes, so for that individual isn't a useful class.

As long as i'm concern, besides mostly the DK's chain on the DK all the rest is mostly the same or close to it, the Warden's teleport is a bit slower and less precise than the chain, needs just a few adjustment on game play and voila, as for healing, i like way better healing with my warden than templar, more challenging, requires more Situation Awerness and player's skills to keep everyone's alive, no BoL pannic button oto easy off dumb players sticking in circles and stuffs, or maybe because the Templar has been out for ages and i love fresh stuff, as for dps, i love dpsing with my warden, because, to keep up you need a more complicated rotation, but, that's what makes it fun, i can beat my warden's dps with my sorc way more, but, at the cost of fun, i don't call casting 3 skills only fun, it's boring and repetitive, with only 2 skills and medium attacks spellweave and you'Re fun, BORING!

    @Koensol

I could also paste you the definition of useless as for your comment, pointless and not constructive at all. ;) Feel free to go whine on any otehr negative based threads, this post is for positive minded people, not the ones that always tried to find the bad stuff in life and be sad about it, but, that's your opinion. Since you missed the point of the thread, it's about people not only caring about numbers, but love to play the game and classes, i'm not deciding anything for anyone, don't even know what the point of your meaning is, the threa is open for those who love the class even though cryers says it sucks, plenty of those kinda threads around, but, feel free to be unhappy man. :)

I totally agree with what is being said here in regards to fun vs most efficient meta. I mean we can go and play excel spread sheet if it's just about numbers.

Having said that there is also a certain satisfaction in what my little cousin would call to crush your enemies, seeing the mobs melting before you and hear the loot rolling in.

I got to admit, for animal companions, would had been great something like, a quest to tame an animal or something, or able to tam some different pets, so we could get to see more than just bear rear ends, as some stated here. :P

Always been a fan of an animal companion by a class (fighting animal not just a cute mini pet). So, of course the bear perked my interest when the warden was announce. I am also a fan of the hybrid class, the warden has this just being the warden. The different skills mix and match with my husband's warden mix and match makes an excellent team. This was a plus. I do not find the warden simpler than any other class. You have to find the right match of skills, armor, jewelry, and weapons just like any other class. The bear does not tank without pressing another button and it is a 1v1 pet. With the bear you have to learn how to use it that makes it a great add to your skills, so no not simpler. I never liked tanking or healing full on. And I have played MMOs for ages.

I will note I do not give a fig about end game, dungeons, trails, and PVP. I play to have fun not study charts, how high my dps is, what I should wear, what my dps should be, and etc. I do not play well with snide people that mock, insult, rush, and demean people just for scores. I play for fun. Endgame is not fun for me, and if I wanted endgame with all the hassle and studying I would go back to WoW. This is just my personal opinion.

The warden fits me. I have a Templar sitting at level 43 and have absolutely no desire to level her more. I have mages that are fun some and few hybrid mages..but the warden is better for me in the fun area. I have a nightblade I like to play every now and then. Nightblade is just bow because that is what I like as a weapon on her. I play what is fun. My magic warden carries staffs and my stam/mag hybrid carries bows (low levels). I can play these wardens purely out of the warden skills, that is a plus.

I guess it all comes down to personal preference and what gamers find fun.

Thats a shame, because of all the roles out there, wardens can DEFINITELY main healer. They are more than on par with a templar in terms of pure healing numbers (probably more-so quite honestly), and the only slight downside is no spear to directly target the tank, but toss a few orbs the tanks way and its just as good.

I am currently leveling everything right now except a NB. All are in their mid 20s. I keep coming back to the Warden, the higher level you get, the better it gets. It's so much fun. Hard to describe. Before, I was enjoying my Templar and Sorc equally. Now that I'm getting all my skills on the Warden... it's FUM.

To all the dissenters saying blah blah Warden dps sucks... ZOS has already stated they planned on looking into Magden dps. So, yay for buffs.
