If you want to be useful in dungeons, trials and pvp. Then sorc.

I don't think threads like this are the place to express personal frustration over class balance.
For solo PVE, I believe magicka nightblade is the most enjoyable/versatile if you like the playstyle. For dungeons, class doesn't matter.
I have a level 50 Templar and a level 50 Dragonknight, each with decent (not great or end-game) gear and nice blank talent trees that have been reset. Or I could start a new class (Warden doesn't interest me, unless someone is convinced it's really super great. Never was big into pet management).
I've been pretty torn on whether or not to just start a new character entirely, as some of you have suggested. I always thought the idea of a heavy or medium armor, weapon wielding "battle mage" style sorcerer would be interesting, given how flexible this game is with skills and equipment. Has anyone had success along those lines?

As the title says, I haven't really played significantly since the original release. Morrowind got me intrigued enough to come back, so I'm interested in playing that content. I also don't think I played much or any of the Orsinium or other content, so I'm interested in seeing that stuff as well.

Occasionally I will group or do PvP, but not often.
What do you all think? If it's Templar or DK, any build suggestions or general strategies? I imagine the classes have changed a lot. I'm also open to other class suggestions. I don't generally like squishy pure casters, but I am open to persuasion.
Thanks.
