can i restart a new career with the morrowind collector's edition and still have benefits

I have recently started playing Morrowind. Can anyone help me with this. Midway through playing I've realised, that the character I created was not the character I intended to create and play. The copy of Morrowind I bought was the collectors edition with codes inside the metal tin case. Now, If I started a new character and career. Is it possible for me to receive the downloads I got with this collectors edition and carry on playing through?

Any new characters you create will have access to all the benefits your current one does with the following exceptions.

• Treasure maps which were used (this were one time only), however these don't really give you anything good so don't worry.
• XP scroll used (as a consumable this is gone) but again don't worry it's not a big loss.

All of your costumes, mounts, etc will be in your collections tab and free to use on any character. Anything you've unlocked from you previous character in your collections tab as well as dyes from achievements will also be accessible on your new character.
If you put any items in the bank you can use this with a new character as well (bank and bound items are account shared).

so.... do I delete the character I am using just now? or leave it be? And any character I now make will have the collection stuff.... but not maps and XP bonuses?

Just leave your old character there, no need to delete it now if you have a lot of slots left.
Anything in the collections window like costumes, mounts, emotes etc. are shared across the account and can be used on multiple characters at once. This means you can enjoy the benefits of your collectors edition on any character you make.

If you have already used your XP scroll and treasure maps you won't get new ones of these, if you haven't used them then place them in your bank and you can take them out with a new character and use them with that one.
