✭✭Sorc has bound armor and the whole dark magic skill line. If you're looking for something more shadowy NB could be a good choice as well. Templar wouldn't make much sense, and DK Is all fire and earth type stuff.2 -

I utilized "dagoth" style and its theme of Sixth House, "anger and ash" - armor that made from volcanic material - pumice, i.e. Ebon style, of black and red symbolizing ash and fire of Red Mountain. Plus Spiderkith skin to imitate burned by lava skin and red glowing eyes of fire, plus Ebonheart Circlet that looks like horns (dagoths are hardly looks like angels) and it red diamond stone imitating 3rd eye of Ash Vampires.
Quality is low but you get the point.

my first char kind of has a "black night" type armour.
I made the armour when he first hit VR 16 ages ago and never changed it (not sure if that image link worked).

As for dark armour looks you're going to want heavy armours, but they're not great for damage dealing depending what you want to do with the character.
Remember you can dye any amour black, so look for the shapes you want. Also you'll be limited to crafted sets if you want a fully custom style as dropped sets can't be changed in appearance only hidden with a costume.@Turelus - EU PC Megaserver

I'd suggest Ebony style armor, medium or heavy will work. Might be expensive but the look pays off imo.
Heavy Trinimac is an option too. Important thing is to get a good black dye, e.g. Coldharbour Black.
This is my Templar in partially Ebony style (head, chest, hands). It's more of a classical knight but should give you an idea.
