Dunmer and their pandaness

I created a female dark elf and she looked really great during creation. She was then subsequently ejected into open world and developed these huge bags under her eyes, as if she was on crack for two years straight. What's up with that? Did I just not do it right, or is this standard upon creation? I mean, she looks like she has vampirism since birth!

She developed those bags after finding out Morrowind isn't a DLC, its an add on, and she had to front $40 for it even with her ESO plus membership.

This is something I've noticed, too. I think it has something to do with the way the Dunmer eye tilt is rendered in the engine outside character creation... it basically gives them a squint that you didn't see in the creator, which leads to you seeing a lot more eyelid than you were expecting.

I was severely disappointed when this happens to a Dunmer I made recently, then infected with vampirism... the vampirism only made it look so much worse. The only solution is to either remake the character or buy an expensive Change Appearance token in the Crown Store. In either case, really jack down the squint, and you'll end up looking relatively normal... though there's still some of that effect, especially with certain makeup.

Because you didn't spend enough time in the CC.

My Dunmer has absolutely NO bags. You just have to play with the CC a lot more if you want to perfect the look.

I think I deleted my "main" 3 times before finally getting it right on the 4th try.

All characters seem to come out of the creator slightly different than what you see in it, it's just a matter of how obvious of a difference is it?

After deleting several leveled characters due to looks I've learned to spend a great deal of time on character creation. I've also noticed that they don't look the same after creation. However with Dunmer the difference is so drastic that they really do look like they've gone through some sort of massive drug addiction during the time between character creation and output into the game world.

I will try again by minimizing squint. I typically set squint to absolute minimum but may or may not have done this with the dark elf.

A big reason that characters seem to look different is the angle the cc shows your character at, its very different than the one that you'll see in character windows and the character select screen. It would be nice if they would let us tilt the camera up and down so we can see from all angles.

Dumner are weird. They're the only race I've seen that look different in the creation screen than they do in the game. The only way I've been able to make a Dumner look exactly how I want is to make her first on the PTS, write down all her specs, then re-create her on the live server.

Also, they look different in different lighting, which is just bizarre.
