Hello, So i am having a issue finding the color codes for the various color changes for the text on the MOTD. Also I know I have seen guilds with the like little Alliance flag on the top left of the MOTD. I play on the Xbox One so if anyone has a link to a website or anything of the sort that be great, also if anyone has a example of how to apply these things to the MOTD box on the Xbox one.
Thanks

You know what, I've tried that website and I must be doing something wrong cause when I type a message and hit apply nothing happens

I don't think that website will do anything, it just colours the text using HTML colouring, which isn't what's used in ESO.

What you need for colour on PC is |cXXXXXXtext|r where XXXXXX is a hexadecimal colour and text is what you want to change the colour of. I'm not sure if that works on console, but it's worth a try. Icons are done with something like |t24:24:<<X>>|t where 24:24 is the width and height of the icon in px, and <<X>> is the filepath of the icon.

But thats exactly what this page is doing! You type the message above, mark the parts you wanna color, choose the color und hit apply, then it shows how you have to type the MotD to get that coloring. For PC you can just copy/paste the messages then... or just check the color codes by typing single letters and coloring them. And yes, you end up with a text like "|cXXXXXXtext|r".
Im using it every week to update our Guild Messages in Rainbow colors ;)

Hmm, maybe it's browser-specific. It certainly wasn't doing that yesterday!

I found a previous thread on this over here: https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/264489/motd-image

No, coloured text and inline images DO work on console, and its all the same as the PC. We just cannot check the path for the images on console, but it seems to be there. So we need access to the image list with paths off a PC version of the game, and we can then use them on console.

Thank you for this I will try it tonight, this is very helpful. I know it works on console since I see it constantly in some guilds but no one wants to really take the time to share how
