Ah I know exactly why this is here.
People have been wanting to "Inspect" other players forever now, especially when wanting to do group content. They want to pry and check our gear to see if we have BiS stuff or not, and if we don't, it's a swift kick.
Not to mention at the end of Dungeons if one person asks "You have this or this?" And the second person says no, or doesnt say anything. Do a quick inspect, find out they're lying. Suddenly hate whispers start rolling.

Inspect items you obtained, like gear, food and so on.That would add immersion, besides icons for items and gears are really small...

Nevermind then. Only reason I made that assumption was due to it being what people usually meant by "Inspect" in the past. But I understand what you really meant now.
...Like every single rpg made by bethesda
Edit:What I meant by this "inspect mode" is the ability to zoom in and out of objects and rotate them, just like in skyrim and fallout 4.

i hope this never happens, if you want to see what i have on or what foods i'm using, or anything about the character i am renting and what i have done in eso then just ask.
i might show you if i feel like it, but if i don't feel like it then it's private. and i hope it stays that way.
we are not here for your inspection and amusement, it is set to private for a reason. please respect that it is private.
this is not new, and has been asked before and is always met with dislike and overwhelming down vote.
people don't like this and i'm very glad people don't like it.
here's 2 links to prove it is not wanted:
https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/136016/suggestion-inspect-player-feature/p1
https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/comment/1197428#Comment_1197428
there are many more if you search them, including votes for it, and as always it is voted "No" by almost everyone.
please respect that it is private.

I love the fact that you spent so much effort on that comment, op didnt even want that either and its already been explained that he wanted a inspection of item that we pick up to see how they looked like, like in skyrim. So read the thread first please. Also op, that would be nice to have.
Damn that title had me triggered...
It would be nice, especially with how housing items work.

Go to a crafting table, look at housing recipes, and there is a option to "Preview" which you can spin and rotate the object.
But as far as OP's idea, it would probably be a coding nightmare and what kind of strain on LUA memory it would cause. IDK??
Also the 2 examples are the only ones out of 10 TES games that had this feature.
There is a add-on that allows you to do this with furnishing recipes and items in guild store and such..
I don't think that means what you think it means.wenchmore420b14_ESO wrote: »It already has this feature in a way.

I know what you mean.
ESO is the worst game to look up skirts, the armor and stuff in ESO, its like ancient times, you know what they wear in ancient times? bunch of cruddy rags, thats what armor style ESO likes to make.
They never make nice, modern, appealing outfits. This game, I honestly dont have any armor types I'm very anxious to get, because they all cruddy rags to me.
