acquiring books should have physical representation in mages guild

like some library shelves that fill up as you collect books, and you can walk in and see it, the same way you can see all the thief's guild unique stolen items

Buyers further beware: you can buy/craft bookshelves separately but if you put the books in them properly they will become stuck and unreadable...

my idea wasn't for personal housing, more like a mage's guild library you filled the shelves of, over time of collecting books in the world
like a physical representation of your progress

Just for reference, that isn't what a Navmesh is. A Navmesh is a group of triangles on the ground that tells the game AI where npcs and the like are able to walk. You are talking about collision, which is a feature built into a mesh that says "there is an object here, another object can't be here"

Hmmm.. I see. Tbh the closest you'll ever get to it would be to make some shelves, make it look as library-ish as you can/want, and fill them manually as you go. I doubt they'll ever create what (I think) you are wanting.
