What do we know about the Chroma-Blue Dwarven Spider Mount?

Datamined here. Note that the tooltip says "Purchased in Crown Store."

Would be a shame to buy the current spider mount, only for the chroma-blue version to go on sale next.

I suppose the current Crown Store Showcase at least shows that it won't go on sale this month.

How far out does marketing usually decide these things, if you're allowed to disclose that? I'm curious because it seems like some offers are decided much closer to the release (like the spider being 3k) whereas others, like the elk or the limited kagouti, seem to be determined months in advance. Just curious is all, totally understand if that's classified

Don't care about the spider....

I want the cat, the sabrecats, and the gorne striped wolf, and maybe the mustang.... I won't buy the clown crates, so all the mechanical versions that are crate only are out of the running for me.

I want that stripped mustang. I saw a dro'mathra senche cub posted on a pc thread, im hoping, fingers crossed to see the Dro'mathra senche come back too?

The Dro'm-athra senche is in the Dwemer Crates. If you already had one, the item card got updated when Morrowind's early access hit live. So, that's probably going to be a 100 gem item. Incidentally, the original three Hero Costumes and the Pale Velothi Guar are also in those crates.

Well, new crates will be here in a couple weeks. So, I imagine new mounts and pets will come along with those new dwarven crates.

Thanks. I've been wanting that pale velothi guar. I don't care about the senche quite so much.

Yeah, the genetic dwarven spider mount was just released (and expires in a couple days). Available in a Crown Store near you.

Looks awesome. It would match the Dwarven Spider that comes with the collector's edition of Morrowind. Just as the current Dwarven Spider mount matches the Dwarven Spider that is awarded for completing the quest in that public dungeon.

Right now? No, but there is at least one more on the way.

There are seven Dwarven mounts on live right now. There's a full set of Dwemer mounts in the standard varieties. So, a Dwemer Horse, Dwemer Senche, Dwemer Guar, ect. Those are the Apex rewards from the Dwemer crates. There's also alternate versions of all those mounts in the game files, which are produced from other materials, so, they have silvery, green, or black inlays. Some of those are flagged for the store.

That said, I don't know what you saw, if it was a spider, there's three possibility. One: You're mistaken. Two: The Dwemer Spider actually has upgrade visuals. It gets additional armor elements, and the legs change when you hit 20 points in Speed and Stamina, it also has small bags that appear at 20 capacity. Three: When you activate the "Roar" ability on the Spider, it's control crystal glows red for about 30 seconds. Which may look like a different mount but is, in fact, the same one.

(To be clear, my disappointment is with the timing and structure of the sale, not with this dev communication. I take the dev post in this thread as made in good faith and appreciate the communication. It's the nickel-and-diming from the store; the exorbitant prices; the disrespect for paying players to which I object.)

Way to miss the point bozo. Paying like 40 bucks for something that's a simple reskin is too much. It's not good value regardless of how much money you have. I could be a millionaire or a peasant and in either case it still isn't good value.
