Reduces your damage taken from Light and Heavy attacks by x%

I am allocating all of my CPs for PVE game as I will only participate in non-CP campaigns

Do mobs in open world have a variation in light and heavy attacks?
If yes, will this point reduce their dagame done to me?

Yes, some mobs do light attacks, not sure about heavy, but regardless expert defender is useful for PvE content.

Yes they do. You can test it easly by watching your deathrecap, when it shows 'heavy attack or light attack' in its name it gets reduced by CP.

I don't know 100% but I think Light / Heavy attacks only come from Players. I might be wrong on that tho - thinking mages at a PVP resource etc that feels like a heavy attack.

I'm sure someone that knows will arrive!

It does not work in PvE. I asked the same question some time ago and @paulsimonps was nice enough to test it:

Has anyone else tested it? What was their conclusions?

I must admit I've never tested it and never felt the need to since I never invested heavily into it. @paulsimonps is definitely a knowledgeable player and is on PC so can easily test these things. It sounds like a bug to me though because mobs definitely do light attacks.

Mobs sure do heavy attack. There's a telegraph's of radiant lines warning you and it's important to know for several reasons aside.from.this passive.

One is that blocking an HA can set the attacker off balance, triggering CP, set (armor of truth) or class damage bonuses. When off balance your or someone else"s heavy attack can then *** them down and also grants a damage.bonus which I seem to remember being 40%.

Some bosses HA with side effects like knockdown and the same opaque and hidden mechanics usually apply, though bosses rarely suffer knockdown... With the 10% CP bonus againts off balance enemies it well worth knowing.

It does not work in PvE, even mobs "light attacks" are not called so have names like "quick strike" or other, some heavy attacks are names such but it did not work against that either. I check different types of mobs when testing it. The most obviouse one to test was hominods like men and mer, and not even with them did it work.

If it works now in Morrowind then it most have been considered a bug, but I don't think that is the case. Can always check later but I will make the assumption that my first tests still stand.
