Physical CE Broken Statue in Box

Many people who ordered the Physical CE, myself included, are reporting that the right leg of the statue comes broken in packaging. What will ZoS do to address this problem?

So ZoS didn't learn from the last time, there were many issues of broken statues with the original collectors.

Blame HODOR for breaking the poor thing.

As Lightbane said this was sadly an issue with the original CE as well, however I am not sure what came of it.
I think ZOS will seriously need to consider doing their statues inside a box with polystyrene which is then placed in the main box.

This, kinda. Although I don't mind the quality of the Dwarven Colossus compared to Molag Bal, statues should be polystone like the Witcher 3 statue or GTFO

If your statue is broken, I would imagine you can put in a claim to your shipper, be it Amazon or whoever that may be.

They both ship broken and ZOS won't fix 'em!

You can see the statue's left leg is completely dislodged, and actually the right one is broken as well, but not as obviously.

Yeah if they're going to keep doing these statues they need to be packing them better.

If you guys have issues with your Dwarven Colossus Statue you should contact the retailer you purchased your CE Game from. If you purchesed it from the bethesda online store you can contact support here.

Mine also has a leg broken off. Through amazon it's saying I can only return it to get a refund, but there's no option to get a replacement? Can anyone confirm? @ZOS_RyanM

I don't really want to have to just glue the leg back on if I want the statue

Because I am everywhere! Gotta get that link in my signature out there so we can hopefully get Battlegrounds fixed. I haven't even played the game since I started that thread because I've been so consumed with trying to get them to fix their damn game. Emails, Support Tickets, Social Media, Reddit, the Forums, I'm everywhere.

And I'm afraid not, I'm NA PC.

Also, sorry OP for the derail, I think the CE statue being as poor quality as it is is a serious issue that needs to be addressed beyond "Contact whomever you bought it from." Well, ZOS, the original product came from you. You can't just pass the reigns off because YOU decided to cut corners to save a few bucks.

I've not received mine yet but this does not bode well seeing other's statues delivered in pieces. I also cannot resist the pun of calling him the Disassembly General.

I received mine today from Amazon and all is well... the statue is HUGE... looks nice on my bookcase.

Meh I assemble Resin models from forge world...if mine shows up broke unless it's shattered. I can make it look factory new in an hour.

It actually easier than the hassle of returns

Three companies in China produce these type of Collectors models and two others in the U.S. usually does the packaging.

It's probably more likely a distribution center issue and somebody on Amazon's second shift just dumped pallets off his forklift so he could go on a cigarette break faster.

But I don't know why anyone uses resin or other heavy, brittle materials anymore. They could use a collector-grade vinyl and just rotocast it. Keep all the details and paint applications but at a fraction of the cost and weight. Vinyl also won't break if it falls off a shelf. Or kill a small animal...

Mine too. Received mine today from Best Buy (pre-ordered from them), and was surprised to see the right leg snapped off from the pelvic area. My statue also had a small coating of what I'm guessing to be dust all over it. Like a very fine white powder all over it.

It still falls on ZOS to ensure that the products they are selling meet QA standards.
