Hehe - I can't see their being much sustain in there with the size of the hits. so it looks like its very dependent on having good support. I'll not be running it, but I probably will be using overload more in combat though..
I tried an ambergance build for fun last night since I had the swords and the gold jewelry since dark Brotherhood. I did pull off a really good solo 1vX at Roe with it.
I'm not sure it's for 'me' though, overload is just so clunky to swap in and out of. I can make it work, but not nearly as smooth as you make it look.
Personally I do better with the nearly 20K spell pen with spinner. This week I had some guy report me for cheating because I killed his 35K resist Templar down with 18K frags. Someone was salty about being two-shot. When he came back to our resource, Reddington killed him while he was still sending angry tells.
Netch's touch could most definitely work if you can afford sharpened Elegant swords. The tool-tip damage would be a bit higher then both Martial Knowledge proc, and Julianos raw spell-damage on paper.

So how do you make sure the 10% damage proc on this lands on a frag hit instead of a resto heavy?
Also, why power overload over energy?
Power Overload does 6% more damage.
I run martial 5pc on my front bar with swords to ensure my overload gets the buff when weaving it with frags.
I'll keep the 6% in mind, but my current build sort of needs the regen. It's about 1K every second, which is considerable.
PS: Nerf QAM. According to DC zome chat, he overloads through keep walls and hacks.
But I wonder how many of them run out and try his build after he releases it? XD
Wouldn't be the first time they've said it and I'm sure it won't be the last. Their salt only fuels his overloads, the silly sausages

Molag Kena too and you wouldn't need elegant swords. I think the Spell dmg, while uptime not 100%, is more than Netchs touch. but the ultimate cost increase means less lightning balls.
You could grab martial swords (I honestly don't know if they're cheaper than elegance) and run 3pc jewels, 2 swords, 5 elegance, and 2pc Kena.
EDIT--- LOLZ I just read your responses, guess you're already doing that?

Yea lol.
I thought about Kena, but it would make overload usage even more strained.

Lmao
And yes, overload is very clunky. I have plenty of moments where it just refuses to cooperate and I die because I cannot get to my resto bar in-time. Or times where I'm clicking my mouse but my character refuses to overload what I'm aiming at in clear view.
