Maintenance at 9pm et??!!

We pay monthly subscriptions we buy crowns zos sells ugly mounts for 40$ more than what the base game is worth now.

The least this company can do with all the problems we have today is do the maintenance when most people are sleeping in the AM.

Not mad at all but zos needs to step it up big time any good company puts its fans and gamers first. Instead they are taking the game down at 6pm for me ( pacific time )

I assume this maintenance will break and take well into Tuesday so we were going to lose a primetime night one way or the other. There is no way something major isn't broken (not counting BG's since those are already being rolled out broken).

Your portrayal here is less than attractive and its outbursts like this that give gamers a bad name in general. This is where insensitive meme's like "casuals" or "pay to win" come from. Step it up, knock it off and carry on.

I'd like to think that if you did some checking to find out why it is coming down, you would appreciate that the end result might be worth the inconvenience.....but then again.

This is a global game and sleep time for you is not sleep time for everyone. The game always comes down for regular maintenance during peak time for me - 8pm my time.

Your opinion is immaterial. Wanting maintenance when "most people are sleeping in the AM" - and we know you want that just so you can keep playing - is never going to happen. Time zones... look them up.

Xbox states ESO: Morrowind will be available at 2AM Pacific for me. ZOS has to take the Console Servers down to patch them before people have downloaded and can play. So what, at least five hours to patch and do maintenance? If not a few more? C'mon dude, not being able to play for one night won't kill you.

I'm only guessing, but wouldn't it be reasonable to expect some downtime since it's not just the game client, but the servers themselves that are being updated? What if the server update is happening earlier so that a midnight Eastern / 9PM Pacific launch is possible? I imagine there's a lot of code to be uploaded, campaigns deleted etc - Tons of work, and you can't work on that stuff if the servers are online, no?

I can understand that, I suffer from this stupid creeping sleeping schedule where some weeks I'm awake during the day, other weeks I'm up all night, and I still manage to get ample play time either way.

Luckily I play on PC but I'll agree the amount of maintenance is nothing short of ridiculous.

Nice assumption. You should work for cnn. Did anybody say i was quitting? And if i was quitting why would make a thread in a forum ? People can have complaints about a game hoping devs will see it and make adjustments.

I actually made a thread one day saying how EVERYBODY uses bsw for everyclass and it needed to be nerfed so not everyclass was using it. I was annoyed at the time but they nerfed it a week later .

Not all of us bend the knees to ZoS and never complain about anything.

Theres millions of things to complain about thats why they come on here to see what can improve the game

I wouldn't know about BG - I am on console and haven't had the luxury of an early release...... maybe you should be grateful for what you have instead of complaining about what you don't have.
