Like, I've found 1 master chest, a few advanced chests, and MANY intermediate and simple. However I still haven't found ANY Ashlander buoyant armiger motifs (despite having about 90% of achievements for Morrowind outside of HoF, including savior of morrowind) and I have noticed that the vast majority of the intermediate chests only drop one, setless, garbage piece of gear and nothing else, where as simple chests are dropping garbage green gear with a glyph or empty soul gem (something). Though the advanced chests and one master chest I have found has yielded 1 blue defilers item and the rest vendor or decon garbage. Meanwhile the thieves troves I have found are dropping purples, pardon edicts, and generally nice things pretty frequently. Some thing feels amiss here with the regular chests, particularly the intermediate ones.
Anyone else notice this?
Update: After 8 hours of straight farming chests and troves, intermediate chests consistently yield less than simple chests 99 times out 100. Also no buoyant armiger. None. The hell is that drop rate even with a so called "quirk of fate". Holy ***...
have not found any armiger motifs, and opened hundereds, just like you said above. my CE chests had useless junk as well

I've done 2 full laps and opened 20 maps, nothing.
This is only going to be achieved by buying with crowns or one in a million full book drop0 -
AdicusDio✭✭✭The armiger motif drops from dailies. Got a chest yesterday. but to be fair, I've done over 30 dailies (doing all 4 daily repeats since the early release, every day) and that was the first armiger anything. Normally it drops purple jewelry.0

Sorry, it's nothing to do with dailies, they are found in chests only1 -

✭Update 6/22: Intermediate and simple chests seem to be reliably dropping appropriate loot. BA motifs are dropping 1 per 200-300 chests I open, which is actually pretty ok. That comes out to be about 1 motif page per day I play. Seems good now.
You and I have a different definition of good. One per 200-300 chests is good!?!?

This is not a bug, it is a deliberate attempt to *** people off, it can easily be corrected so why don't you....why?
There is NO REASON to make the motif pages so rare.
It will not make people subscribe more....it won't make people play more to get them (after you have run around in circles opening hundreds of chests you will work this one out...oh wait...you don't play the game do you!)
In ACTUAL FACT it has made me play less.
It was the straw that broke the camels back, with all the other STUPID loot RNG walls that are multiplying in this game...

I've seen multiple issues reported in subsequent patch notes, and some not quite subsequent, so personally I take what's said in the patch notes as only saying "we tried to fix..."! 1 -

Um, no they are not. I got an Armiger Chest motif as a reward for doing one of the dailies (it dropped in a blue container) , but only one so far out of 30+ daily runs. Have about 4 Ashlander motifs from dailies though, so a slightly better drop rate. Sold the Chest for a 100k.0 -

LOL, I did the same thing. Only removed 3 though from the crown store adventurer pack. Verified they were dropping junk, took before/after screen shots, along with a couple Intermediate chests that were literally right next to the CE one, and got better drops from the generic Intermediates than any of the CE ones.

You lucky man, I've done over 300 coffers and not got any.
I stopped doing dailies once I got the motifs but I might go back to doing them knowing that they drop from coffers.
I've just got my BA out of chests.
It must be the usual zos style to give us incorrect patch notes or incorrect programming.0 -

AdicusDio✭✭✭Zos supposedly improved the drop rates with I think the 2nd to last update. Wasn't until that update I started seeing motifs from daily coffers. Was floored as the Armiger chest was the 1st one, and an Ashlander dropped at the same time (pretty sure it was the the monster hunt and the relic daily coffers).0

You have shown us ashlander motif that you got from the coffer.
I got all the ashlander and tong motifs in a week doing it on 6 toons.
Please post a pic when you get BOUYANT ARMIGER MOTIF.
Motif collectors like myself and others that have every motif apart from BA0
