Emp Push Failed but ...

So I tried making an Emp push last night and failed miserably. Apparently when I'm getting AP solo I only get it at 1/3rd the speed of the top farmers. After about 4 hours I gave up and decided to just play internet poker ... where I won $603 by finishing 1st in a tournament!

Let this be a lesson to you kids! If you stink at farming AP at least you can always gamble instead.

yes the game rewards you ap the most in groups of 8-12 i believe.

I tried to go it alone. I told my guildies that I didn't want to waste their time if I couldn't get off to a hot start. I was able to stay in the top 50 but I was being out scored by #1 at a 3 to 1 pace no matter what I did.

At least I got that $600 flush though!

I on the other hand suck at both AP earning and gambling!

I come out of every EVE Alliance Tournament with a net loss of ISK betting on matches (never bet against PL), I will be sad I can't do that this year. RIP EVE Gambling.

I have noted that becoming emperor costs many sleepless nights of endless farming. Having seen a friend of a family member go through this it was misery for them. It's not healthy and was afraid she would end up ill by the end if the month. To maintain it is even worse. It is a title that doesn't let you have any personal life until you let it pass on to someone else. I for one am unable to keep up a grind to make it into top 100 let alone emperor unfortunately. Would love to see another route for this as most people can't do this. Even those that like to pvp as so many have real lives as well. I don't remember an mmo that had such a horrific grind for anything like eso does. Another thing is would like the kill emperor achievement shared by the group or those that atleast got a hit on emp when he/she dies.
