Pretty much this.
Group finder - sucks. It stucks often. Waiting for group to be formed after accepting inv can last ages and sometimes ends up failing. After yesterdays update it's better but still it's way from calling group finder fixed and functional.
Matchmaking - sucks. Maybe 20% of matches is 4v4v4. It mixes low lv and high levels , low and high ranks and creating teams that is obvious have no real chance to win. I dont even want to start subject of adventage that premade teams have over randoms. In my opinion weekly leaderboard should include premade teams separatly from randomly cerated ones.
Ballance - sucks.Propably the biggest issue atm because it'll also affect Cyrodill. Almost every playstyle that was very strong before update is even bigger issue atm starting from class ballance ending on sets ballance. That's a larger subject to talk in other threads but it's really dissapointing to see that many things that people was asking to tune down are still here sometimes even stronger then before update.
Rewarding - sucks Walking into battlegrounds without crafted potions can be very punishing. Battlegrounds consume a lot of potions because fight there is more consistent then in Cyrodill. That means it cost us lot of materials which cost time or gold to get and in return it gives us around 70% of a time useless helmets and 2-3k AP which is laughable amount. People can get better rewards for capturing resources in Cyrodill in less then 2 minutes.

Why would you go into Cyrodiil without crafted potions? I craft two stacks before I go PvP. Non-CP PvP builds still perform decently in Battlegrounds. There are no CP''s to use a's a crutch for sustain so damage is tuned down. Proc sets will always be proc sets. They are over performing slightly but are still manageable. I don't think people are really there for the AP gains. It's more of a fun arena type of thing with different game modes. The queues and the grouping system is a major downfall, but that will get sorted out in time.

Well I edited main post to make things more clear. I havn't changed anything on my stam sorc yet I am more effective right now then I was before update , stam nb similar burst can be even higher now then before. There is many other builds that I think feels the same. You can afford on lowering Your dmg stats on non CP to increase resource managment because poeple dont have CP to mitigate Your dmg so You can still make builds that will have good dmg and also survive enemies attacks. I dont even want to start talk how poisons overperform in non CP.There are no CP''s to use a's a crutch for sustain so damage is tuned down.

I never use crafted potions in Cyrodiil... But then again I've been playing on Azura Xbox and you don't need potions to kill NPCs...

You missed the point entirely. There are people in game that will strugle with not having enough money to allow themselves run with crafted potions in battlegrounds which consumes lot more potions then Cyrodill and rewarding system in battlegrounds is weak so You have no chance to refund atelast smal;l amount of resources spended to get crafted potions. It stope to be fun when You die because You cannot afford potions.Well I edited main post to make things more clear. got you point @Juhasow ...sounds very legit...
I've often wondered what was the "costliest" content to run in eso...
I would imagine trials and the undaunted pledges are the worst (having to repair gear, and, only picking up BoP gear), followed by pvp then questing...
@hutch679 that's a nice strawman you've created. But regardless of how you want to nit pick the OP, he's 100% right.
I run through a stack of potions in a night of Pvp, but I have no problem farming/buying mats. That's not the case for everyone and in a No CP environment effects like immobilize poisons, tri-pots, immovable/speed pots, etc can have a much stronger impact than in CP enabled pVp
Add to that the balance issues, pre-made groups, and lack of Matchmaking and it's a pretty big pile. It's still salvageable if they fix the queue and add some matchmaking though

Strawman fallacy indeed. Poisons and potions do perform much better in non-cp I agree absolutely. Idk if they are really a "requirement" but they do give an edge over an opponent that isn't using them.
You guys realize, that you can PVP in imperial city and get enough mats for crafted pots with tel var stones? Apothecary kits are awesome.
You don't need to PVE or pick flowers for crafted pots, you can steal someone else's hard earned TV stones. You don't need gold anymore to make them, just a bomb blade and an enemy farm group carrying 10K each...
I don't see what the complaint here is.

What?
I agree with the first two.
But for me personally, playing since 1.6, the balance in the game is at its current best. All classes can be viable in BG's and the gap from worst to best, is ALOT shorter than it was just 6-12 months ago. So i disagree with the balance part.
And for the rewards, i am very happy with them. By completing the BG, you get AP, gold and XP (alot of XP actually), based on your performance. It is not uncommon for me to get 3-4k AP per battleground i think. So even with this current bad GF, thats maybe 20-40k AP / Hour. Besides that, there is the two daily quests, and you get a guaranteed mail with items in it. Currently some of these items are very valuable (thanks to Blobs, i sold Sturdy Legs Impregnable for 50k yesterday, lol). And on top of that, i STILL get the rewards for the worthy. Finally, theres the leaderboard, which i am yet to find out what gives, since i only starting this week due to GF being broken on EU PC.

Are then any decent sets that anyone wants from those reward mail? Because they seem pretty rubbish to me. Especially for no cp bg. I either vendor all the items or randomly give the good trait items to a stranger. I do wonder how I was rewarded with a legendary quality set peice though, that was weird. Still hard to sell it for 10k

Idk how you can argue that the ability to increase costs by 30% in an already poor sustain environment isn't a huge advantage. If someone is running immovable pots and resource poisons and you're using a spell damage glyph and trash resource pots you're going to have to outplay them drastically to win in no CP
Even just tri-pots allow you significantly increased sustain over someone using trash pots. That's ok though, but it becomes more egregious when you've got pre made groups dominating pugs and poor matchmaking putting unbalanced teams together.
I agree that requirement is a strong word, but if you're fighting someone of similar skill, in no CP they're a colossal advantage
