Kinda the only thing apart from Lore that I miss from WoW

Personally I'd prefer discrete catch able Battle Pets like in WoW, but more realistic is probably a Pet Battle system using the Non-Combat pets... You know what maybe this wasn't such a good idea after all....

You know, it would kind of be a great idea.
However, I don't think it would work out well as the majority of pets are purchased through the crown store/crates and there are not enough available through just questing.
They also do not have a wide enough variety of available pets. I think if they were to introduce a battle pet idea they should have at least one hundred pets available to EVERYONE (not just crown store or ESO+ members)
I am a frequent user of the crown store and am also an ESO+ member but I feel if they made the majority of pets available for everyone then there would be many more people to battle, trade, and sell pets with.
I used to play WoW and had done the battle pet thing, and I think it works for them because of the immense array of pets that anyone can capture or buy from in-game or on the website.
Basically, it's my opinion that battle pets could work if they studied how WoW handles their battle pet content. I haven't played that game in a long-ass time but at least they knew how to do the battle pets.

I don't get all the people that voted no. It's not like it's going to effect any part of your gameplay. It's just there to kill some time when there is nothing else to do in the game. If you don't like it then just don't use it. No reason to take it away from someone else just because you have no interest in it.

Besides it would be awesome to pit khajiit and argonians against each other.

When you go online in battle-mode ranking in Pokémon, it's not longer a "game for little children".

Because it brings in a lot more kids that think its a pokemon-surrogate. Didnt you see the hype with the app lately? Even stores, and complete towns had to ban it, because it caused major problems.
