    Probably Spell Crafting as it would add more to the game. Crafted sets are not really worth having to make a choice between the two.

    I just want to be realistic. It has been 3 years and they still haven't managed to add something as relatively simple as jewelry crafting. I have no confidence in their ability to do something more complex like spellcrafting before the turning of the next zodiac age.

    Not everyone has access or is able to do Trials, Maelstrom Arena, Vet dungeons, or have DLC content. Being able to craft Jewelry to fill in weaker slots is a far better option. It's especially great for filling out set bonuses for those opting for two-handed weapons over dual-wield or one-hand and shield.

    Hence why I know it'll never be implemented.

    Plus, spell crafting would cause so much imbalance. It'd kill the game. But, if it was carefully implemented, then it'd be nice.

    i dont want jewelry crafting.

    i want a crafting uptick along the lines that 1T gave drop sets.

    i dont want jewel crafting because all that does is add more slots for crafted and drops to compete over. It doesn't help resolve the conflict or make crafted more able to compete meaningfully. it doesn't give crafting anything dropped dont have.

    All it does is remove a unique element from drops and make ir a shared element. less diversity does not help us out.

    What i want for crafting is summed up in my sig but in short... the biggies are the following:

    1 - Get rid of drop set weapons. Weapons will be either non-set drops or crafted sets. (this gives crafteds their own "only our stuff" slots right beside the drop set jewelry slots. No more competition, now both are needed for strong builds. It turns from competition to collaboration. The whole drops should be better than crafted cuz... and crafted should be better than drops cuz... set of arguments go away because you will need both.)
    2 - Allow crafted sets to drop one (or two?) of the 2-3-4pc bonuses to make crafted 4pc sets (or 3pc sets?). Another unique thing for crafteds and helps raise interest in older sets to some degree. helps 11-slot builds.

    if these two are done then drops will have jewelry and monster sets as their "unique to us" thing while crafteds have weapons and 3-4pc body/wpn sets as their "unique to us" things.

    Now for Maelstrom/master weapons there are several options and i am undecided which way to go:
    1 - leave them be as the exception to the drops and weapons thing.
    2 - turn their drops into mat-tokens able to be used to craft one weapon of a type you wish with the appropriate maelstrom/master bonuses.
    3 - replace them with a temporary blessing, with arena difficulty determining the duration. Could also be a consumable symbol again with duration determined by difficulty. This gives you the needed repeatability but also a lot more flexibility in buids since the arena blessings would not require gear slots. blessing should be significant - at least as good as an extra mundus but likely more so.

    this would do a lot for changing the gameplay and balance between crafted and drops for the better, if nothing else by removing the most statistically daunting piece of the rng - weapon v trait - but leaving needs for repeating content.

    Obvious poll is obvious. Why many really want jewelry crafting? I never got it, crafting sets are underwhelming already, crafting rings won't change that.

    Neither. Crafted sets suck anyway, so being able to make jewellery for them doesn't really do anything for the game. Spellcrafting scares me. The game is already a disaster when it comes to balance. Spellcrafting might just sink the ship.

    The next feature I want added is a token system.

    If they get spellcrafting to work in a way who is relevant but not min / max gamebreaking it would be awesome.
    However I can not see how to do that,
    Jewelery crafting on the other hand would be simple to implement.
    Grinding just make you go in circles.
    Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

    Not having jewelry crafting made sense at one point but now that every single dropped set has easily obtainable jewelry, crafted sets lose out to dropped every time.

    Have a fully levelled crafter and the only thing she does other than writs is the occasional set of training gear for new characters.

    The right answer is obvious. Choosing between the two - jewelrycrafting provides nothing new. Simply adds you upgrade jewelry. Yeah would be nice, just cause it's kinda bugging a lot of people that everything is gold but not jewelry.

    But spell crafting has so much more potential and could add so much more fun, customization and diversity. That's much better than adding 30 magicka or whatever to a piece of jewelry.

    Spellcrafting ftw. It was one of my favourite features in Oblivion and the way it was mentioned back in the quakecon of 2014 (when they teased the next several years' worth of content). A lot of people mistakenly assume that it would all be magicka based, but there is nothing that says spells couldn't also be based in the stamina resource, and I doubt even ZOS would go so far as to completely exclude stamina players with such a large feature, though whether this feature will ever be in the game is doubtful.
