I'm trying to figure how all of this stuff adds up to help create a *non-CP build* for Battlegrounds.
Example situation:Lets say that a skill costs 3500 Magicka to cast after Light Armor passives are taken into account
I slot the Armor of the Seducer set, granting an 8% reduction to Magicka Cost on skills. That skill should now cost 3220 Magicka, meaning it leads to a total reduction of Magicka cost by 280 for this skill.
Now let's take the same situation of a 3500 Magicka cost skill and slot three gold CP160 Reduce Magicka Cost glyphs instead of Armor of the Seducer. Each glyph will reduce the Magicka Cost of skills by 203. The total cost of this skill will now be 2891. This adds up to a total reduction of Magicka cost by 609.
If I were to use those three glyphs and reduce the skill's cost to 2891 Magicka, would Seducer remove 8% of the Magicka cost from the original amount or the newly glyph-debuffed amount. Will I gain that same 280 Magicka cost reduction, or 231.28 (which is 8% of 2891)?
Trying to figure out if Reduce Cost glyphs inherently lower the effectiveness of the Seducer set.

Skill cost = (Base - Flat reduction) * (1 - % reduction)
(3000 - 2*203) * (1 - 5*0,02 - 0,08) = 2127
Where:
- 203 = Cost reduction glyph
- 2,0% (0,02) = Light armor passive, Evocation (Reduces the magicka cost of your abilities by 2% for each piece of light armor equipped)
- 8,0% (0,08) = Seducer set's 5pc bonus (Reduce the Magicka cost of abilities by 8%)

Its 8% of what is left after the Glyphs have been calculated. And if you add other things like Worm or Breton Passive or any of the Weapon passive and light armor, they are all additive with each other and then multiplied with what is left after glyphs.
Makes sense now. Ty!Skill cost = (Base - Flat reduction) * (1 - % reduction)
Meaning that if skill costs 3000 magicka and you have 5 pieces of light armor, Seducer set and 2 reduce cost glyphs you get the following:(3000 - 2*203) * (1 - 5*0,02 - 0,08) = 2127
Where:
- 203 = Cost reduction glyph
- 2,0% (0,02) = Light armor passive, Evocation (Reduces the magicka cost of your abilities by 2% for each piece of light armor equipped)
- 8,0% (0,08) = Seducer set's 5pc bonus (Reduce the Magicka cost of abilities by 8%)
This is always where my head hurts. I have no idea if two pieces of gear are reducing my costs total or is one just reducing the new cost from the other. And which gets the reduction first.. So I just use one cost reduction piece. I'm not that crazy about math and really wish items would just speak plainly.
