I agree with most of the above whereby the sustain has made life extremely difficult since the patch but also adaptation is essential to make the most out of what is left after the nerf. What concerns me the most is the number of my guild mates that have basically quit the game since the patch due to the massive sustain nerfs. These changes drive people away and I have noticed that the average crowd in the server has diminished somewhat since the patch. There may be several reasons for this but the sustain nerf and the fact that the DLC has been turned into a cash grab have been the two main reasons.
Stick with something of this:
- Red Frothgar food (+5K hp, +457 mag regen)
- Witchmother's Potent Brew (+3K mag and hp, +319 mag regen)
don't know which is better...
Still, i don't like all new changes too. When i finally found my playstyle, my build, my enjoy..... BAM - nerf here, nerf there. Probably wait a lil, then go Destiny 2 if ESO will not change something.
Lol, if you think deeply, it's all about that Magician passive ) One skill ruined the whole game for many players.
Issue 1: Sustain took a big nerf, and many people, myself included, are not overly thrilled about how we have to adapt. Mainly because the easiest and most obvious way is to just throw in HAs to our rotation, which slows the pace of play.
Issue 2: You dont like that 2H weapons only give one set bonus. It's been that for a long time, and I dont see it changing. Not to go to far into the merits, but magic would be pretty darn OP if everyone immediately got a second 5 piece bonus. Not saying its right or wrong, but the balancing required for this would be significant.
Your problem is you are trying to connect the two, and they are largely unrelated in the eyes of most. In other news, most templars have gone away form the DW meta.
If an item takes two slots, it should count as two set pieces.
Alternately, only the set item in the first slot should count towards set pieces - make everyone equal in that regard.
The DW for added spell damage as a magicka character is asinine and unintuitive. If you don't use the weapon in a fight, you shouldn't get the bonus from the weapon line.
You switch to your back bar for regen purposes. You can run a monster set and two full 5 pieces, with or without dual wield, one of them simply won't be active when you swap - which won't make that kind of difference while you're heavy attacking anyway.
Switch back, resume.
Just because you don't like the way something is doesn't necessarily make it wrong...
Earn it.
IRL'ing for a while for assorted reasons, in forum, and in game.
