I don't think there are enough players to support 3 more servers. It's probably that simple.
I agree, although at launch there certainly were.
The cost of a small server setup just for BG and Cyro though? As long as you can get it in the country, it wouldn't be much at all relatively speaking. Even just a instanced PVP server or dare I say it p2p would be better than what we have to deal with.
Anyway, not much point discussing amongst ourselves. I understand why they wouldn't do it. I was merely curious as to why they never publicly explored the option.
I've played for 2 years now from Japan, but I'm moving on. There's nothing left for me to do but PVP, and I can't do it due to the latency issues.
If there was an Asian server, I'd still be here, as would my $200 or so a year investment, along with many others who have moved on a long time ago.
I travel globally for work so if I end up living in NA I'll jump back on, but the game is just so unstable playing from Asia, it's simply not worth the effort.
