No, the one that comes with the CE has more active idle animations, and is a charged blue.
If you don't care about the minutia of your pets and just want a Dwarven spider following you around, the Opus works. I personally wasn't impressed at all with the "new" upgrades. I mean, an utterly basic horse is 700 crowns. Why do you think a fancy mount should be 400?
