Lmao I'm all for more content but you can't run a train through the current content and then say "we need more"
They can give you 100 hours more and the likes of you will be back tomorrow saying "I completed it and it's not enough"

I agree with you more content should be coming would be nice if they had added it Bloodmoon again as a DLC.

That train was only 35 quests which is less than orsinium, 6 delves the same as orsinium and 2 public dungeons, also the same as orsinium

i went into the beta with a very positive outlook but i just couldn't maintain it no matter what spin i tried to put on it. They just charge too much for too little and they have made some serious mistakes this time in implementing an overwhelming amount of unpleasant change while not distracting from that with positive additions. I don't know what they were thinking on this one or what justifications they used but...eeeesh.

i have been attempting to modify my attitude since i logged out of the closed beta after the first few days and didn't go back. it went live, i logged in, made a warden, got to level 4 and found myself standing there doing nothing. Not wanting to play my main. Not wanting to start a new toon really in morrowind and then have to go back through all the old content after the few quests were done. No increase to housing slots so not even that to distract me from all that it isn't.

They just really needed to have stepped it up and made all the negative people look silly but they they just didn't. It's one thing to modify expectations so that you aren't disappointed when something is free or cheap. it's another thing to have to modify expectations so you aren't disappointed when they charge a lot for every little thing. If you're going to charge "luxury" item prices for things other games give you for free-the entire package had better be mind blowingly awesome or you are going to lose customers. After giving it some time to see if my outlook changed-i'm still of a mind to give any money i might have put into this game-to the skyrim modders instead. I'll still keep an eye out for positive change here though. That's as positive as i can do atm

This in a nutshell. What makes it worse is games with half the budget of zos that sold maybe 1/3 the box sales were able to give more content away in their first year of a sub them zos sold to their clientele in 2 years. And by three years had released 2 full blown expansions with new dungeons, raids, races, and level cap increases. Not to mention having several layers in their alternate advancment systems. Honestly zos should be giving classes away until they have at least 8 playable base game classes. ZOS has made EA look like video game saints , and that is just plain sad

Anyway, the issue is that Vvardenfell is both a "starter" zone and it's not, and is a little unusual for that reason. Hey, I'm fine with them sticking a mundus stone on there, but I don't think it needs it. It's just not that big of an issue.

Firemoth Island (or whatever it's called) is the starting Island for Morrowind. Also yes zero mundus stones is a big issue and almost certainly something ZOS simply forgot, hopefully they fix it.

This was my main concern once I saw this video, I saw that the map size wasn't that much bigger then orsinium and how can you call a 35 quest dlc an expansion? and i hear most of the areas are walled off, its sad that zenimax is taking advantage of our love for a great game just to cash in on our nostalgia.

This went from day one buy to wait for a sell real fast.

When a character starts out the original way they do not get to a mundus they would want to use until much later anyhow. As it is we often travel to someone to get the mundus of choice with a new character.

As for the guild lines, we can still grab the skill lines in Vv and they seem to level up. The quest line for each of those guilds do nothing to level up the guild line itself. Though The mage guild will certainly level up slow since there are not tons of books in Vv.

Thieving not withstanding, I have found the number of side quests comparable with what I found in the original zones. Maybe there are some you have missed.

As someone with at least 4 characters with more than 300 sp each, and a few more close to that, I am not to worried about one sp, though it would be nice if Zos did something about that, but I would see it as a small gesture.

Also, whether it is that here are already threads on the subject or merely this thread is not getting the interest, do we really need to bump our threads because they did not gain traction? The front page would be filled with bumps like a chicken pox breakout.

It does seem this is more of a place for existing characters than new ones. Probably why the guilds don't have quest is no one would use them and what new players there are probably isn't big enough to create a new quest line. I'm not sure if the quests aren't made longer just to make it feel like you're doing a lot. I finally got around to that one that has you all over the place for Daedric shrines which I got after another that had a pretty lengthy bit. Been playing three days and finally got to level 20 when normally playing that much on one character would have me a good bit more. I do play a large number of hours a day. I'm running around and doing these things which is dulling the main story quest. I felt like I was keeping in touch with the main quest of Orsinium more than this even while doing side quests. Well, I only just returned from my first outing for Vivec so maybe I'm just slow.

But a new player to the game wont know what a mundas stone is until lvl 30 if they finish morrowind before moving to mainland tamriel. And there is a lot of daedra on the island and if a player doesn't join the fighters guild, which isn't obvious, they will be missing a start on the fighters guild xp

That's just not true though. I'm not entirely sure how it compares to Wrothgar, might still be less, but Vvardenfell has at least 50+ quests. I got the Adventurer achievement like halfway through the zone.

And dailies also count towards the Wrothgar achievement. 6 delves and 6 WB ;)

I feel Wrothgar and Morrowind have roughly same amount of content. Wrothgar might have maybe 5-10 tops quests more but I do feel they did a better job with Morrowind quests. It also has a large number of "exploration" achievements such as ancestral tombs, Vivec shrines and the book collection, kind of similar to how Wrothgar had that collect trophies for museum one. I like these and I think it's a cool thing to have, just finished finding all the tombs today, no Google involved. Was really fun. I really don't think you'll actually feel Vvardenfell to have less content than Orsinium, though I doubt you'll feel it has more either.

Does roughly same amount of content+new class+BGs justify a price tag separate from ESO+? Debatable, I think more interesting here is Zenimax going back on their word again by introducing content inaccessible for ESO+. I don't really care because I prefer buying dlcs anyway and I'm already of firm opinion that you cannot trust anything ZOS promises until they actually do it(and maybe even then), but it's something to keep in mind for anyone still taking ZOS for their word.

I'm finding the quest level acceptable, at 18-ish hours in (I played too long the first day) I still have a ton to do, but the main quest should've been limited to one step per day. There are people who say they rushed thru it in 2 hours; I don't know why or how, but that's broken.

What a great way to make more content....

Really wish they would come and explain all the locked interiors. Its so jarring compare to every other zone in the game. Idk why people keep sayign MW quests are better than orsinium I feel like they have the same quality. Did everyone forget the final boss battle for the story with the exploding background?. Hell I counted at least 6 dwemer ruins with literally no purpose after doing every quest I know of. Damn door blocked by a 20cms of dirt. Even one thats hidden away with defenses for some reason and the door goes nowhere after you get to it. Its just bizarre beyond reason.

If we wernt gonna get sheogorad/red mountain least they could do is complete the playable area.

The thing is, we don't know what is reserved for future content. I would be all for them adding more new quests in older zones, and it would work well because of One Tamriel. So perhaps locked/blocked off areas are done as a holding space for future content. Or, perhaps it was just laziness on ZOS' part because they didn't want to take the time to create extra interior locations.

I have found that quite a few of the 'closed' ruins etc actually open when you do the quest for them. So they are part of the game just not all the time. I have also found a couple of family tombs that can be entered & which have minor rewards.

And both my new wardens are at lvl 20 at present & neither have completed all the quests. And that's without Training or xp scrolls.
