Be even worse if everyone got an apex reward in the "free" crate. Then when they bought more and got the real rng kicking in, there would be ranting, threats to sue and all the other happy stuff that usually happens. Or the people who didn't get the "free" crate bought crates and the rng kicked in....

✭✭✭✭I got a Dwemer puzzle sphere, 50 poisons, one mimic stone, and a scroll (don't remember exactly which one).
I converted the consumables to gems for a total of 4 gems from those 3 prizes.
50 poisons = 2 gems (1 per 25 poisons)
a mimic stone = 1 gem
the scroll = 1 gem
It later struck me that this seemed to be much lower than the number of gems I got for converting similar Wild Hunt crate prizes.
I checked in the crown store, and it says the lowest tier of prizes in Wild Hunt crates give 3 gems each. 3 of those prizes would yield 9 gems.
I may still buy some Dwemer crates when they hit the crown store, but I am going to have a good hard look at the conversion rates before I do.
What sort of gem conversion rates are the rest of you getting? Can you check please.

It's the gem conversion rates that are most at fault (beyond the idea of gamble crates in themselves), it just shows up what a rip-off the system is - thank goodness I didn't waste 400 crowns on it is all I can say. I still feel ripped off because part of my collector's edition that I paid for gave me nothing.
