game crash !!!

The game is insta crash on the start. any one else getting this? i tried repairing several times...and the launcher tried to download the whole game again which obviously i cancelled. So no avail even with repair...any help?

@ToxicPAWS Are you getting any sort of error message when you crash? Do you happen to know where you're trying to load into, also?

it's a fatal error that i'm getting. Attached is the screnshot. Steps taken so far-
1. Removed all the addons.
2. Updated the graphics card drive.
3. Updated PC driver.
4. Restareted counteless times.

Edit:- On a sidenote, PTS is launching and working just fine. But not the live server.

I got in game fine on my old chars. Then I created a new char and tried to continue from the char making screen and
I got kicked out of game into log in screen without any messages.

Now I'm trying to log in again to the same freshly made char (loading to Vvardenfell) and eternal loading screeen for a few minutes atm. Yay!

Those of us stuck at work today thank all of you for your vigorous and persistent testing of the ESO servers during this tumultuous day!

I'm sure it will be sorted by the time we all get home around 6pm EST.

I suspect that is due to sheer number of people probably in Vvardenfell right now (Not me though, still watching my progress bar creep slowly up...)

Yea I think so too. Better try making a new char tomorrow. Or after a week.

Tried both 32&64 bit. Both crashing...on launch. Either from via launcher or gamefolder.

Have you checked the launcher to see if you are running the 32 bit version? If so, try setting it to 64 bit. There was a crash issue with the 32 bit in PTS, but I cannot remember if it go fixed. In the launcher, click on the gear in the top right and there is an option there.

Unless you are running 32 Windows, I would recommend the 64 bit version.

@JasonSilverSpring - I've a 64 bit OS and my launcher has 64bit game by default. It was working fine a few hours before this morning...

Should copy/paste the error text into note pad, save it, and grab a dxdiag, and send in a ticket to support IMO.

Can't login to the game at all now on any char. Eternal loading screen --> crash

LOL, yeah the console launch will be all fixed and "polished"...

As if Console was polished before the patch!

Several crashes gave me that "oh no here we go again" feeling. Finally connected only to find I am unable to use any keys or the camera. Ironically since when I finally did load I was stood on a treasure trove but had no ability at all to pick it up or defend myself against critters ... call me unimpressed so far.

I get that about 7 times per day

Still crashing on this computer but works on another one (and a different account without the pre-order works fine on this computer) Ticket reference code: #170522-002913.

Haven't had much problems running the game earlier.

You do realize that console hasn't been able to play content for literally the entire Homestead patch right? Where was that polishing?

I am getting the same problem and can't get into game anymore AT ALL. I never even get to logon screen. I click play and then get the same error window as in this thread. I have clicked the submit button on that error message several times now.

Getting the same thing, just going through another repair/redownload cycle and then I will submit a ticket. I can get on the PTS but getting the error code 11 and crash on launch for the main game. Guess my warden will have to wait

In 2 hours I've had:

- that same error message around 6-7 times.
- 2 disconnects with error message ESO stoped working
- 2 blue screen of death
- 1 red screen of death

Every time I log back in after a crash i get the having to click on the country and accept terms and conditions etc.

For months now I have had that error message on the pic aout 7-10 times a day esp in IC and Trials.

Wost thing about this game is the instability and the vanilla UI that means we depend on addons that eventually become outdated when the addon creatre moves on etc.

i think i understand the problem...a bit. somehow Game is not detecting my NVIDIA graphics card anymore. I had restored my system to a week before and it stopped the game crash but now a new problem has arisen. After launching the game all i get is a black screen. Just a black screen. Nothing moves, no intro, ads, animation, nil NADA. and it stays that way. The i ran the Game Consultant and in the report, it says
