My question/observation is based on pretty much the complete absence of Master Architect from any of the magic builds. Do you not see these becoming a requirement for every dps in a raid at some point? I feel like Major Slayer uptime will become one of our most important buffs. I never got a full set together to test on the PTS, so I am just speculating. Did I miss the mark on that one or is the jury still out?

He mentioned it in the description of the one magicka class that could actually get decent uptime on it, magicka nightblade. Seems like sound advice, too: in some group setups in some situations (mostly single-target), it will be worth using. At other times, go with Scathing.

Perhaps, I just feel like this is one of those sets that that you really wont notice on a test dummy or in a small group, but when you have 8 DPS running it at the same time, it will be very significant. Obviously nightblades are a natural fit with their low cost ulti, but I feel like other classes should be able to benefit as well.

more specifically maelstrom staves, i have a sharpened lightning, but only have nirn & precise inferno
while im obviously chasing the sharpened which would you recommend in the mean time?

Sorry I forgot to add that one >.> Its still the best in terms of healing for now. Just have to consult with my healers first and write down the build.

Well DKs scale a lot of things with health and the shields you give to your groups are insane: Alkosh is still good, but atm survival > dps

I will focus on PVE builds. I will most likely stream a lot of PVP and then do the builds at the same time. Needs a lot of time to create a good pvp build.

Use the sharpened lightning and a random sharpened fire staff for your backbar.

2x troll king (Broken)
5x bone pirate
Msa 2h
3x Alchemist (5x s&b)

Can go medium or heavy

Or switch the alch for 5x daedric trickery if you wanna have some fun rng with a chance to get op buffs.

Thank me later, i expect you to always put me in credits when this build eventually becomes the meta and only build for stam in eso.

Any CP variant for the pve magblade setup (azure) with non sharpened VMA weapons? got a nirnhoned lightning, no inferno yet though.

Heya, just a quick question regarding Stam Sorc. Regarding the non-BiS gear setup (Hundings Rage and Spriggan's Thorns) I wonder why you would use an infused crafted dagger instead of a nirnhoned one?

The weapon damage difference from the "increase wd by 348" on a sharpened dagger to 417 on an infused dagger is less than the 185 (~149 + passives) you'd get from using a nirnhoned one.

Of course, nirnhoned would only be better in the instance of this one enchant and only on crafted gear.

regarding Shock/Fire Staff and skill selection (e.g. mDK build):

Id try to keep the single target skills like Burning Embers and Flame Lash on the fire staff bar and the area skills on the lightning staff bar. That way each skill benefits from the corresponding 8 % (single target / fire <-> aoe / lightning) damage increase.

Also Lightning Wall of Elements beats Fire if you aim for as much concussion+off-balance as possible esp. with a charged staff. That is for solo play (vMA). Of course if you run in a good group where the healer provides wall of elements with guaranteed off-balance fire wall will be better.
Iam running Masel's Off-Balance build. I didnt play much yet on Morrowind, but did notice a damage decrease, probably to lightning heavy attack damage nerf. Idsay I lost about 2-3 K dps, but nothing too bad yet. Off-balance Flame Lash still hits for up to 20K so Iam fine with it sofar.
