Best race for a warden and why?

either bosmer cuz bosmer are awesome, breton cuz bretons are almost as awesome as bosmer (female's only)

or lets make everyone who's gonna play warden make the redguard male from trailers so everyone has the same character

It's extremely obvious, but: The race you most like playing, all the hypothetical mix/maxing in the world doesn't actually mean anything when you're in the game, especially when it comes to race.

Basically... you can't go wrong with warden. I am pretty sure that every race combo will be good here. Other classes can't say the same....

And btw. Whatever race will be picked the most for Wardens in statistics data I am pretty sure ZOS will nerf that race and not the Warden....

why are people saying high elf? warden only has 1 ice damage skill. fire damage will still do most of your damage % so go with dark elf.

My first will be a Breton because... I like Bretons, and it's very difficult to go wrong with them on any front. I luffs all my Breton babies. Probably an Imperial and/or a Bosmer after I buy the other two slots coming with Morrowind if I decide I like the class enough to play with a Stam build. I'm still in the early stages of planning, but a Bosmer definitely for the whole Wild Hunt/Ranger/Druid/Nature Magic aspect, because I'll probably want the option to stealth. (I may even make them a LA magicka character just to mindscrew the min/maxers.) I just don't want that for my first as I've already got a character I want to revive.

I can't say I'm not tempted by a Nord or a Redguard though. Too many choices! (And they're all fun! )

If I had to guess, I'd say the same ones as all the other classes. Altmer/Breton for magicka, Redguard/Orc/Imperial for stamina. And stamina seems to be better for wardens, so Redguard.

I agree they are the coolest looking races. I love the Argonians and Khajiit for how they look.

That said, my warden will be a Nord just because I love vikings and a Nord with a bear will be awesome! LOL

I don't worry about the min/max and just pick what will be fun for me. I don't want to be playing human races since I am a human... well, with exception of Nord since they're vikings! LOL

I'm really debating on what to make my Warden; I currently am planning on making a Warden and a DK soonish. I know I want one of them to be a Dunmer (because along with Orcs they're my favourite and for some reason I don't have a Dunmer character atm) and the other probably a Argonian. But I dunno which way around. >.<

Any lore perspectives on this incredibly important decision? :P

Actually, the Warden has 3 Ice damage skills.
1. Impaling Shards
2. The Stab morph of Crystallized Shield
3. Sleet Storm

If you add up the extra damage from Frost plus the slighter larger Magicka pool and consider that High Elf is 4% extra fire damage vs Dark Elf 7%, the difference is not worth choosing a race for.

Just play the race you enjoy most. Myself, I do not enjoy playing a Dark Elf.

Edit - also the Warden passive, Piercing Cold, adds another 6% to cold damage.
We may also find the 9% Magicka Recovery the HE has to be more valuable in Morrowind and may actually have some effect on dps.

Am going to say "*** the meta" and make a female magicka red guard because I've never made a female before and red guards have the prettiest female models imo.

All my characters are Dunmer. I can't stand Altmer and Bretons are too plain for me.
