Can I play Morrowind on sub accounts?

    Not that anyone in my house will be playing it on a sub account as my teenagers would rather stop gaming than play a game their mother plays....... :D

    I'm trying to understand this thread, but I'm a returning player who know's nothing.

    Answers seem to be referring to cross-platform. If I have ESO Plus will I get access to all the Morrowind stuff?

    Not cross platform. PS4 and Xbox one have sub accounts so other family members can play the same game on their individual accounts.
    Normally any content downloaded from.ps store of xbox store is console wide so all individual accounts have access to play without an individual purchase.

    The question is as this is a download from those stores not crown store is it account bound or console wide. So is one copy downloaded enough as it is with all other games or does each player account need to buy a copy.

    I went to the support section but the only thing I saw was web assistant and the closest thing after clicking that was PS4, Billing, Game purchase issue that redirected me to Sony

    Heard from Bethesda support they said sub accounts will require an additional Morrowind upgrade. Sorry its not good news

    It's a DLC but you still have to pay extra money for it because ZOS.

    Hm so it's an "Expansion" that acts like a DLC... brilliant lolol. I'd expect that if you add a "Chapter" or "Expansion" to your existing game you upgrade and expand the B2P game in full. These people.... :D

    I'd suggest this is the case with the PS4 because I have ordered Morrowind and it had a 10% discount for having ESO+ - which only one of my PS4 logins is paying for. I will expect that will tie Morrowind to my ESO edit that shows up as ESO+ and not the other one.

    Won't be able to confirm for a couple of weeks though.
    Australian on PS4 NA server.
    Everyone's entitled to an opinion.

    As it currently works, yes your additional character slots will have access but not other accounts ......

    Please respond on June 6th after your bit of wait to let us know you cannot share Morrowind on other accounts on the same console .....

    Who said anything about characters and most of the people including myself that's made comments on this post agree that Morrowind is not shareable between accounts. Maybe you should start reading comments on a post before posting a comment

    Yea I guess so, sub accounts are other accounts on the PS4 not character slots in the game that's the only thing I can think of, and no one that has posted on this discussion has said anything that they have to come back on the 6th and make an apologetic post about not being able to share Morrowind on their console!

    The sub accounts should require an additional upgrade in order to access Morrowind content on them. Thats what they sent me and it wasnt from ESO support it was from Bethesda Support, so thinking about it now it might not be reliable info we should just wait to hear from ESO, speaking of which have you heard anything?

    Are you sure the discount is not due to being the PS+ holder? That's the reason I have a discount on mine. Don't think it is anything to do with ESO sub.....

    I'm going to say you will have to buy 2 copies. Over xmas I bought the xbox ESO "Gold" edition just assuming that it would share...basically like EVERY game and DLC on the XB1. The base game shared but because of the way they packaged it, as purchasable in game stuff from the store, I was not able to share ANY of the gold "DLC".

    This new "Chapter" is EXACTLY the same as DLC so I am betting it will not share. This whole thing has left a bad taste in my mouth and will not be buying anything ESO for the XB1 going forward. It's like they went out of their way to break years of family sharing precedent. I bet they spent a ton of time/money trying to figure out the best way to PREVENT family sharing.

    It'll work yes, technically morrowind is a DLC bought from the ps store, so if you have your account primary on your ps4(which you bought on morrowind) all other accounts on the same ps4 will have access to morrowind.

    Not all DLC on PSN can be shared between accounts

    @KimoBitz I think that's what we are all hoping for but will see on 6th.
