Characters from NA not shared on PTS?

A couple of weeks ago, I was on the PTS and my chars from the NA server were there. This was excellent, as I wanted to craft some impen and some nirn and test them out. I was also checking out the new content, of course.

A couple of days ago, and today, I went back, and there was an explicit note: "Your characters are not shared across servers."

So, what I want to know is-- is that temporary? Or will I never be able to take my master crafter, CP160 chars and run simulations on the PTS?

Character copies are a two (2) week rotation between NA and EU. When it's time for the EU character copy, NA characters are wiped ... and vice-versa.

ZOS sometimes forgets to max out crafting trait research on the PTS templates ... which admittedly makes it difficult for players to theorycraft the newest dropped sets with crafted sets.

On the other hand, the two week rotation between NA and EU character copies has been in place for years. Any regular PTS player knows this ... and can anticipate the window ahead of time by just monitoring the forums.

I'm not a regular PTS user, so it was news to me, thanks.

Unless, of course, ZoS throws it out the window, like this time.

And the last PTS update as well ... meaning the very last week of the testing cycle is a wild card, sure.

The first four weeks of PTS have always been the same. NA and EU get two weeks each per testing run.
