    Hopefully Zos can help OP. However, I don't think Zos is being unfair. Zos' policy OP mentions seems very fair and is understandable they need to do something. OP is clearly an outlier and as such should be handled on a case by case basis, if at all.

    This should be a non issue. A customer should not be told from customer support to go to the forum. Find a solution for the customer - you have the confirmation (or it sounds like you have proof the product was fully paid for), give the customer the benefit of the doubt, extend the period or use a temporary code for them - done.

    Indeed. If the late delivery is such an unique case - why not to solve it personally with every affected customer, giving them temporary codes? If we're really such a few people it shouldn't be a problem at all.
    If we're not such a few people (imagine ZOS support flooded with tickets from physical box owners) - it's definitely a problem of Zenimax then, and it should be solved in a different way than saying "you will have to wait till you have the physical copy" or "go create the topic on the forum".

    I purchased the physical edition and it is being shipped by Amazon on June 6. My only worry is that it arrives June 9th and I lose any characters or progress made in that time due to a wipe. Would it wipe the data, or just make the characters and Morrrowind unaccessable until I get the code in?

    The main issue is choosing to purchase from some place that has to ship the product to you.

    I purchased the same one on Amazon too but am totally fine if I am locked out of it for a while due to shipping, as that is something that is expected if I didn't go pick it up myself.

    Additionally we Amazon customers submitted proof of prepurchase. Nothing has actually been purchased yet through amazon as they don't bill until it is shipped. ZOS is protecting itself from fraudulent access as there will be a period of time in between Early Access starting and actually being billed by Amazon for the product that people can gain access by showing their prepurchase proof and then cancelling the preorder and no money ever exchanges hands.

    This is just something we as physical purchasers through a retailer that ships the product has to deal with.
    You were presented with a decent solution for his immediate access and for whatever reason don't want to do it - seems to me it's not really ZOS' problem.

    I too am in the same boat and live in the US and pre-ordered the physical copy because I wanted the collectibles. I pre-ordered from Amazon back in Feb and today received notice that I wouldn't get my copy until June 12. So I now what, do I just lose access, or do I loose all progress that I made to my characters altogether. I opened a ticket 170606-002621 and posted a copy of my delayed shipping notice. @gina Please Help.

    I'm sure I'm not the only one who has received notice of delayed shipping.
