Morrowind Digital Upgrade Question

Got abit of a question regarding the Digital Upgrade for Morrowind, with abit of an explanation first...
I bought the Imperial Edition of ESO on Steam back when I started playing. BUT as I do with alot of games, I prefer playing them outside steam. So I always end up downloading the client of ESO website and installing there, putting in username and password, and play... no problems...
Then Morrowind was announced. And me being fond of the game, and not to mention adoring the ES: Morrowind game (BEST ONE EVER MADE) I mentioned to my Girlfriend that I wanted thet... She being the perfect woman bought me this, and she did so via Steam... Then Early Release was announced and I, like sooooo many others, wants badly to dive into the new content... BUT...
Is there anything automatic about the Steam -> ESO Account thingy... I cannot find ANY way of telling my ESO account that I have Morrowind... and I cannot find any way of getting steam to give me a Key of any kind...
SOOO I might be Dense... but could someone please five me some inside as to how this would work
