Auto Fire For Bow Heavy Attacks

overclocker303b14_ESO
"Fully-charged Heavy Attacks will be more important with the resource changes coming in this update, so we want to make sure there are no gameplay barriers to using them."

Can we make this an option / toggle rather than just the default? If the goal here is to remove gameplay barriers then I don't see a reason why players should not be able to decide whether or not they want this to happen. For most fights I actually prefer to leave a heavy attack charged and then fire it as soon as the tank pulls.

This change also pretty much killed builds like this:

And I'm not sure taking anything else away with this patch is really a good idea at this point.

It's sort of annoying for pvp, definitely. It's sad because that's one of the few ability/strategy combos I really like. Oh how many reds I've stood directly behind w My bow drawn, then decided to hold off. And, I guess, how many I've bolted through the skull, lol.

I've seen a few threads on this topic. I'd prefer a toggle as well, at least for bows and maybe staves. I don't think it makes sense to have a toggle for melee weapons, as some have suggested. I don't see how it makes sense to charge up a heavy melee attack and then keep it held. Drawing a bow though and keeping it held until you choose to release it seems perfectly normal to me. I do not PVP, but I'd like to have the ability to keep a bow drawn and not have it auto fire.
