Sorcerer Volatile Familiar BROKEN!

Can anyone look into this? As of the last patch or so, the pet keeps stucking itself into the walls and such, nor really helpfull at all. Anyone else encountered the same problem?

    They're patching pets (3.0) so that they automatically target whoever you heavy attack, rather than just running around, senseless. But yes, the targetting and erraticness of the familiar makes him less than ideal for skill selection.

    I've noticed weird things with the pet in vma.

    Specifically stage two, the pet will disappear outside of the arena ring... sometimes it comes back after a bit, other times its there until i move to stage 3.

    You can also use the 'command pet' option under keyboard settings to direct it where you want it to go.

    Command Pet + left click to attack (obviously while something is targeted).
    Command Pet + right click to recall (be passive).

    Not sure if/how this is enabled on consoles, but it will let you 'tell' it where to go. I believe if you direct it to a particular target type, it will prioritize that type the next spawn, as well. When there is not one of that kind, it will either choose its own target, or you can redirect using the methods above.
    Just because you don't like the way something is doesn't necessarily make it wrong...

    Earn it.

    Probably has checkbox on Customer Service profile that say High Aggro, 99% immunity to BS

    that doesnt work too well. in VMA the pet gets stuck in the wall (stage 2 i think) and doesnt listen to Y.

    Considering we can command pets they only run around senseless if we permit them.

    Keep your pet trained, and on a leash.

    Guys its not about commandign the pet via key commands, but rather about pets being suck in a ceiling or in a wall or elsewhere while the character is in combat. The commands doesnt work for this! Eventhough I tried to command it to get to me, it was stuck until the fight ended (I killed all the mobs, or got killed).
    So I am pointing on the fact that it is broken regardless of being commanded or not, right now.
    And this happend to me on multiple occasions already, especialy in dungeons (for example Fungal Grotto, Elden Hollow, Arx Corinium and there is more)

    From what I know about it, it's happen when they disappears. And it's small space.
