Global Guild Store Search

Is there an add-on that would help searching for a specific item. Looking for a Fiord's divines helm, I traveled around and searched Guild stores all around Tamriel, only to waste hours with zero results.

It is indeed an awesome web…but not always reliable tho

last time I check there are clearly people try to monopoly the hakeijo market (buy all the cheap ones and sell the glyph at higher price)

It's not always reliable, but if you go on there looking for something incredibly niche like a neckpiece of the Beckoning Steel set, only to see that there are none listed, you probably just saved yourself the trouble of running all around Tamriel for no reason.

Awesome Guild Store. You still have to run around and go to the traders, but you can search for exactly that Fiord's Divine helm you're looking for. One caveat; there isn't a way to search multiple store pages at once, so it will still filter through all the medium armor, for example, looking for the one item. It is still a huge timesaver, though.

What I don't understand how people find it acceptable for any company to encourage addons from a third party. Why not just implement those features into your game.

Any company in 2017 WANTS YOU and SHOULD WANT YOU, to stay IN the game and not leave it.

SEARING take. Why wouldn't this be acceptable? One of the best things about ESO is how simple their mod API is.

They can't react to every single thing 1-10 people might want, but if someone wants it and has some determination they can figure out how to implement it themselves and share it with everyone else.

Each feature ESO releases pulls from their overall budget and profit margin, but when they open up the API they get infinite niche features while only maintaining one.

And when an addon is super popular and is at all in with the development team's vision? They implement it into the game! TTC/MM are notable for being probably the most popular addons NOT currently in the base game but both of them significantly tax your system. MM specifically is notorious for increasing load times and many people use less powerful alternatives for this reason. I'd love to see a "light" version of these integrated into the base game while leaving the option for bigtime traders to build a $3000 PC just to run all their tryhard plugins faster.

This thread is almost as old as the game, let it die. Also that's exactly what the devs DON'T want, they love their non centralized guild trader system for the reason of anti monopolization and will stick to it.

The current system might not be the most convenient, but believe me, it's much, much better than the centralized market I dealt with in dozens of games. Let me give you a simple example: even I currently have the means to manipulate the price of, let's say, Dreugh Wax on a server-wide scale by creating an artificial shortage. However, it would require me to visit numerous traders, which would take a lot of time and effort to maintain the desired "shortage" of the goods.

On the other hand, if I had a centralized market, all I would need to do is place my character near an NPC, set up the most basic macro, and watch the world burn. Just a few clicks. Imagine what could whole guilds do.

I am doing my best, but I am not a native speaker, sorry.

"Difficulty scaling is desperately needed. 9 years. 6 paid expansions. 24 DLCs. 40 game changing updates including A Realm Reborn-tier overhaul of the game including a permanent CP160 gear cap and ridiculous power creep thereafter. I'm sick and tired of hearing about Cadwell Silver&Gold as a "you think you do but you don't"-tier deflection to any criticism regarding the lack of overland difficulty in the game." - @AlexanderDeLarge

    Greetings,

We have closed this topic as it was originally created in April 2017. In many cases, it's better to create a new thread on a topic that you want to discuss as opposed to bumping one that is rather old.

    Thank you for your understanding.
